BTW if you look further (bottom of the main page) you will see an awesome business opportunity. Yes they are looking for sales people. Man I should contact them I bet the commissions are off the hook. I also enjoyed their "about us" section where they state they have been in "the industry" since 2008. WOW!!!!

I saw a TV commercial the other night for a "new" ecig company. It could have been the one the OP mentions, but I'm not sure. If not, it was one just like it because I did check the website briefly. Same cheap products, same high prices. They all look the same. I guess they are licensing the cheap starter crap and dumping a TON of money into TV advertising. Of course there will be the usual internet hype and videos from satisfied customers (with their personal affiliate code of course). I'm hoping that the local vape stores/lounges that are popping up every where are educating people. Seems like they try to carry quality items.

i wonder if they are connected to the TKO vaper site that was being discussed awhile back that had the same inflated prices

Does not look to be. Smart Smoke appears to be out of Washington and TKO is Arizona. Smart domain info can be found pretty quickly but the TKO guys seem to be better at covering their tracks. Info on Smart is below:

Smart-Smoke.co - Smart Smoke

the sad part is i'm sure people are falling for it too.

If they do it is sort of hard to feel sorry for them. If they get hosed at a kiosk I can understand but if they are buying on the web then it is their own fault. If you are buying anything it is easy to compare prices and get an idea of market value for the product you are looking for. Now if you want to pay a little more for quicker delivery or go to a store and pick it up then that is always a choice and the price increase would need to be justified for the convenience. But to pay several 100% over market prices is just plain dumb.

These may be new versions of money laundering sites. They are common on the used book area on Amazon. Price a book at $1000 and people can 'buy' it and transfer money that looks ligit. If you're not someone they know, they just cancel your order and tell you the book has already been sold.

That's the first thing that popped into my head, too. These guys aren't ripoff artists. They're probably East European mobsters, and they sell everything from cell phones to lingerie to pr0n to e-cigs. All at 10x markups and all with flashy, professional looking websites.

You can do that at the kiosks as well. Smartphones are a wonderful thing.

That was my first setup. I lasted about a month using this and went back to analogs. VERY disappointing product. Now I know better.

That was more than two years ago. A friend suggested them to me. He got his at a mall kiosk. I just told that same friend about Ego's and now he's back to vaping too. Grin.
