Opponents of the proposed ban, including Henrico County-based Altria Group Inc., the nation’s largest tobacco company, argued that e-cigarettes produce fewer toxins than traditional cigarettes and that a ban is not justified.
BT's big boy opposing a ban on e-cig use??????? Whaaaaaaaat??????????![]()
Hooray! I'll vape to that!
But it was a little disconcerting reading about your "relaxed" smoking ban compared to Nebraska's "nowhere in our state" attitude.

Well, some "spoke loudly" all the way to the state supreme court and turns out pretty much everybody in any position of authority put their fingers in their ears while going la-la-la-la-la. Do a search for Big John's Billiards to see how that worked out for him.
I'm not surprised at all that the tobacco companies defend ecigs. They think they can profit in that market. They might try to influence government to stifle vaping products that are a competitive problem for them. If they don't do that I have no problem with them being in the vape market. Ecigs will crush the tobacco market eventually. The tobacco companies know that. It's tax dependent governments who don't know that, or better to say, who don't want to accept that.
If BT would just get behind vaping and use their resources to make nic for us I'd be happy.
Because they sell e-cigs and expect it to be a huge growth market.
