That's what I've always done, but like wassaid every artist is different, and it does depend a little on the ink/artist.
I was always told you didn't need to directly wash it. Just take a shower as normal then pat it dry with a towel.
I always washed mine often............just using soap and my hand, no washcloth. Pat dry, and put Lubriderm on it.
That's what I've been doing. Using aquaphor through tomorrow then switching to lubriderm.
when it starts to heal, and itch, dont scratch it.........slap it..................seriously
