I see you are not far from Glen Rose. Friends of mine have an Elk Ranch there, I have visited several times.
Yes, my family and I used to go to Glen Rose quite often to go camping. Nice little town.
I have never been to the town itself, we drive down from their home in the Fort Worth area fully supplied for our stay at he ranch, I played golf during my last visit to Glen Rose.
The campground we stayed at was on the outskirts of the town, the only time we actually traveled through the town was on our way to Dinosaur Valley or Fossil Rim.
Not really on topic but we are planning on going camping next weekend. First trip if the year!
I have heard of Dinosaur Valley but never visited. Is it a good place to go?
It's not bad. I'm not really the hiking type so that keeps me from fully enjoying it, but the dinosaur tracks are pretty cool. I like Fossil Rim better personally.
Its pretty there, you sure can see a long ways.

Just curious because I didn't see anything in the rules post, and someone else may have the same question .... If a previous winner is picked in the randomizer a second time, do you run it again so a new person can win, or does that person win a second time?
Yup. Just black bears though. No grizzlies afaik. Was a bit intense partially bc I.just woke up. And partially bc it didn't scare off.easy. I.credit dog training for so long to help me keep my cool. That bear didn't smell fear. After I was a bit shook up.

We had one in my area a few years ago, it was raiding peoples bird feeders and garbage and being a nuisance. They ended up capturing it and taking it back to where it belonged.
I was where you are for the better part of three years. It's h*ll, I know!
Oh I can't make it three years. I've already pulled ask the rabbits out of a hat that I know how to. But thanks for the empathy and sorry you had to bear that burden for so long.
