I like that! I just went on a vendors site and all they had were 5 star reviews. Honestly what are the odds of ALL 5 star reviews???

I cannot STAND that. That right there tips me off that something might not be right!

I see that a lot and it ticks me off, too. Even the best juices aren't going to get 5 stars from everybody.

reviews are automatically filtered for spam and verification, then posted. We do not interfere with them, we let the system do it. The only reason for us to interfere is reviews lacking details. "This flavor is awesome!" or "This sucks!" will be deleted. :)

I concur, i've seen allot of reviews that say ' it tastes like apples' for an apple flavored vape... its kinda like... duh, could you be less descriptive please, i can't handle all that!

Well, I did one and got an email about it. Thing is, I tried when first got then steeped and tried again. then had 4 others try it and it was just nasty. It was supposed to be an iced tea with lemon and it actually tasted like ammonia smells. I had emailed and asked about it and he said nothing had changed and it was fine.. to steep it and I did. But I had also gotten a daily email from them to post reviews. Just glad they aren't on ecf.. I can review flavors I don't like and not have a problem or leave a bad review. Strawberry is one of them. I say although I don't care for strawberry vapes this one is ...... and can describe it just fine as to accuracy and rate it that way. I try not to give bad reviews but that one was just beyond whatever and I am one that reads reviews not so much what they say but look for key words

Personally, I won't give a really bad review only because taste is so subjective (we've heard it 100 times). I just tried a juice that had 3 great reviews and I actually threw it out because I thought it was so bad. I've given reviews that may say something like light throat hit or could use more flavor, but I just wouldn't write a review if I thought the juice was horrible.

Great point, taste IS subjective, and if you try something and don't like it then explain what it is, you don't have to all out go 'THIS SUX' and thats the end of it. Real reviewers will give you a full breakdown review even if they detest it. Most people, however, take that for granted when writing reviews and just put 'it sux' thinking that will help some one, when all they're doing is hurting the creator / product =/ I don't like the anise or absinthe flavors in Pluid, would i trash it? no. Would i recommend it? Sure! only if you like anise and Absinthe / black licorice.

It's all part of marketing. The thing is, things change. The purpose is for someone to see a hundred 5 star reviews and convince themselves there's no way they won't like it. Nowadays though, it just gives it away that they are filtering the rest. I've tried posting even 4 star reviews on many vendors and never saw them posted. Honestly, it saddens me to know there's such a lack of honesty towards customers from some companies. I understand the whole "for the business" thing, but that's flat out deceiving your own customers/potential customers.

As far as Bionic Vapor goes, if you post a well written review (regardless of rating) you'll see it posted immediately.

Actually the best reviews I have seen are the ones that include the gear they vaped it on. I find that even with my ego or triton batt, what tank I use makes a lot of difference too. Sometimes it is all fancy stuff I haven't ever heard of and I have to look it up but I don't mind that either. I have one juice that I don't even like in a bottom coil but love it in top.

Agree 100% on the top vs bottom coil.
Most of my favorite juices taste better to me when I use a top coil.............not all.......but most.

I really don't base my juice purchases solely on other people's reviews. I know what type of flavors I like. If those types of flavors get good reviews or people on these forums talk highly of them, then I'll give them a try. I won't go with the cheapest company and I won't go with the most expensive - some juices are outrageously priced. I also go by the website and the vendor's descriptions. I pretty much stay with reputable companies. I like the descriptions Bionic has for their juices - I think you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect.

I like when I see 1 star rated reviews and 5 star rated reviews posted by the vendors also. It is deceiving to customers to not post someones very well described review of why they did not like it. It makes me think that the vendor does not have enough belief in their products, because if a vendor is proud of their product than they know that some people may love it and some may not. I have purchased flavors that I knew I would like regardless of if it had bad reviews by other customers...and I have loved the flavor. When I review flavors I am guilty of putting for example I have an eliquid that is flavored Cinnabun and when I reviewed it I said it tasted just like a homemade cinnabun, but I also put the thraot hit, vapor production, and many other things about the flavor. I never just put Tasted like a cinnabun though...lol I think that if you are going to do a review than you should do a well written one with details.

jomoke, you have been vaping longer than I have and have weeded though to find your flavor profiles if you will. I am still doing that and getting a lot of surprises along the way. I don't like watermelon but won a vape in a contest and they requested a review. Felt it my obligation to do the review. I wrinkled my nose and put this in my tank and wow, it was fantastic and something I would never have tried if not for the contest and the request. Now I make it a point no matter what, that I will at least try it and do a review.

Right now I have the same exact juice in an Aerotank (bottom coil), and an Iclear16 (top coil).
To me, and everyone is different, it tastes better in the top coil.
Though I do love my Aerotank...........love the fact that I can adjust the "draw".:)

Testing was my main reason for wanting so many different tanks. my go to is my aerotanks; but i also have 2 different breeds of BDC, nautilus, protank 2, T2 rip off, T3 rip off, Kanger T2, Kanger T3, IGO-W and IGO-F. I also change my batts between borrowing a mech from a good friend, as well as my MVP at a multitude of watt / volt settings, and even go down to the ego. Some of my reviews can be about as long as this post sometimes longer *lol* but in the end i feel if i get a vape i'd want to read a review the way i write it so i know what to expect with what i'm packing. But as always taste is subjective.

Any juice that I have ever won, I have posted reviews for.
I would never post a bad review for a flavor that I won. I may say the flavor was "not for me", but I try to describe its attributes (throat hit vapor production)
If a vendor is kind enough to give me something for free I feel that giving a bad review would not be appropriate.

The one not so stellar revue that I posted was for hardware that I purchased.

Well, I can see your point but if I really don't like a juice to the point I have to throw it out, I don't want to embarrass a vendor either. I've had juices I know are good but just not my thing. I think part of this whole experience is finding what you like and the only way to do that is through trial and error. Every once in a while I'll try a flavor I've tried before to see if my tastebuds have changed, but that doesn't seem to happen.

But thats an awesome thing to do! always be descriptive, it helps others make a purchase decision. I found a Cinnamon danish that tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch; i didn't hesitate for one second to mention that. It was like vaping a bowl full of awesome, i still have some too! However i did mention the cereal flavor to it so no one would be surprised.

I don't have an Aerotank but I did recently get a Nautilus. I wonder how they compare to each other? Has anyone used both?

I find on the Ego and MVP they are about the same, nautilus coils *stock* come better built than allot of kanger products, but after a quick rebuild its harder to tell the diff aside from the different draws. I felt the Aerotank was a little tighter than the Nautilus. On a stingray the Nautilus also seemed to give a slightly more rich and smoother flavor.

The nautilus Air flow is also allot easier to manipulate than the aerotank, and i like the huge tank size *5ml* compared to the aerotank *2.5ml*. granted i'm still addicted to Kanger products since Kanger is what i started with :)

I have a question......am I just weird in that I have never really had a coil burn out or whatever.....I have some tanks I have been using for say 2 months and they still have the original coils in them....I read where ppl say oh a coil just last me a week or two ect ect and I am like weird I have never had one go bad.....granted I am sure the vape quality would improve if I changed coils on some of my older tanks but they still work and do not taste burnt or anything
That all depends, it seems. While the coil may still be 'good', I notice a lack of flavor and vapor. At that point I try to soak/dry burn them. Sometimes works, sometimes dont.
