Did you use a brush type kit or a tank type?

I love burnished copper and want to try out a few ideas on some of my steel bits and pieces and wondered if its worth investing in a tank kit just for a few small bits, is there a difference in finish as I know the brush type isn't as quick as a dipping tank and the bits being done are just cosmetic.

Also is there any sealers out there to protect the polished finish, I know gold is lovely when its polished but I want to get it to an aged point and then keep it like that?

The finish is the same and I used both methods eventually on the pictured mod, as for sealers I am not sure on that one but some lacquer could be used I would guess.
