Bit the bullet and jumped on the REO train!

I've been eyeing the REO for a long time now but always found excuses to not buy one, the main one being I couldn't use my favorite rda with it (vertex v2). The itch grew stronger when I found out that a supplier here could mod the Vertex to accept a bottom feed. Today morning my regulated mod decided to start firing on its own, even when turned completely off. That threw me in a fit of rage that ended up with me buying a REO!

Now the wait begins. I hope it doesn't take too long but with the snowstorm on the east coast, who knows when I'll see it. I also bought a Zenith clone from Angelcigs for $7 so I can start using it right away till I can get the Vertex modified.

Hopefully it's as good as everyone says so I can stop hunting for gear and start selling stuff!

There was an issue with the new 510 connections, and new replacements are on order....

It is my understanding that Rob (RedEyeDancer) has put all orders on hold until he gets it sorted out...


I had an order in for New Reo with the new connector and my order got cancelled... I was stoked to add another REO to my collection

Thanks for the heads up! He updated his site saying he wasn't selling the LP and Mini Reos, but the regular Grand is still for sale so I'm kind of hoping that they aren't affected by the 510 issues. Either way I'm sure he'll get it sorted out.

Also, a non-LP REO will not be able to use the Zenith or modded Vertex RDA. The standard REOs have a tiny catch cup that only tiny RDAs will fit into. May want to cancel your order and get an LP when they're ready, or grab a small compatible RDA from his website.

Glad you caught it in time! I was super confused when I first wanted to get a REO. Do you have something to vape with whilst ya wait on the LP?

Thankfully I do have stuff to vape on. My IPV Mini seems to have died mysteriously but I have a mech mod as well as another mech coming in soon. I'm waiting on the Zenith V2 clone to come in before I send Chowderhead my Vertex so I will have an RDA to drip with in the mean time.

Oh wow thank you so much for the offer! That's very generous. I always keep my beater mech mod handy just in case (like today thanks to my IPV).

You can still contact him, explain the situation, and refuse the package when it comes. He'll work with you. He's great that way.

Ah man, sorry 'bout that. Like Bluesnake said, you should still get in touch and see what he can do. He really is a cool guy and goes WAY beyond to keep his customers happy.

The other thing is there is a whole Reo forum with tons of great people willing to help with any questions or problems. Rob is on the forum somewhere everyday. A real hands on guy, forum name redeyedancer.

Well he was able to cancel my order and refunded my money. Now for the hard part - waiting the week or two for the LP to come back for sale.
