Older SB (model 1.0) had a shorter bottom piece. It used CR2 batteries. The new and current 1.1 uses cr123a batts.

The blue 900mah ones that justrubl linked don't work for me. Do a search on the boards and you'll see lots of people complaining about these. They've got a PCB built-in that keeps cutting them out when used in series. I'd stick to the yellow 750mah ones.

I use the blue one every evening for a few hours dripping a 901. When the cells become unbalanced the weak cell will not hold voltage under load, causing a PCB shutdown. I cycle these batteries every evening, never allowing them to drop below 2.8v. Its a PITA, but cappuccino is yummy at 6v :) Cell balancing has been an issue in most battery packs
