Probably both...![]()
I think there is a quote from one of the Revolutionary Fathers that is appropriate here. *paws through Google bag* Ah yes, here it is...
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." --Samuel Adams
What is funny, is so many seem to get worked up over nothing...
The OP, as a military man, stating the philosophy of if you don't like, then leave... Haha. At what point in time did everyone in this country agree on a single thing? How many times has this disagreement resulted in changes in laws/policies? Should the people that agreed with the status quo leave then after their belief turned against the policy or law after the change... Or should the ones in favor of the law after the change leave? In the military, do you agree with how every society lives its daily life? If you don't agree with the earth's peoples, then leave!!! (By your logic). Seriously, the argument of: if you don't like it then get out logic; is akin to we win so there Here's an excellent pdf on regulatory capture as pertains to the FDA.
Lets see how many "bla bla bla bla lba" responses I get from these questions...
Should the FDA allow this to go on with no science to back it up and expose the general public to it?
Hell no. I'm surprised they are being as lenient as they are.
Are e-cigarettes way safer than tobacco cigarettes?
Probably, but it has not been proven by the scientific comunity (yet).
Is it right that the FDA and society handle this with the same rules as smoking?
Hell yes. Until it is proven by science that it is safe.
If this was an anti smoking forum you would all be applauding my opinion.

What I have questioned for the last three years is where has THE NATIONAL ACADEMY been hiding with all this going on? National Academy of Sciences
Like they have time to issue guidlines for making dog food, but can't do the same for e-cigs!!!!!!!!!
Our taxes funds this "US official scientific community" Why hasn't it been used?
