I wouldn't think it would be very time-consuming to just press the button and see
if the light comes on....at least on the manuals. Steve is aware of the problems
and said he would honor returns...so it seems they ought to double check the
orders. I'm sorry you are having a problem. It is very frustrating.

EXACTLY! You don't even need a carto on to make sure it works. No worries, I've got lots of stuff - just think the chrome is so cool though.

Wondering if the USB PT came from the same supplier. I just made a trouble ticket on the PT that came with my starter kit. Had to wiggle the wire to get a connection and now that don't work either. It's only one day old. If there is a way to fix it I'd appreciate knowing how. I will halt my order for an XL Manual till the new ones are in. Kind of wanted that free lanyard though.

V4L Fam,

I tried new factory, the samples we received were FABULOUS, so of course, I gave HUGE, order, and they messed up. V4L will everything correct, and we are, as of today, discontinuing this factory, as well as closing out this line.

Many people really like these battery's, but, alas, not up to V4L standards.

All will be replaced

Does this include reg batteries too? My reg last literaslly one hour and take 4 1/2 hrs to charge. If I placed an order today will the new batteries ship out to me, or is this just for XL manual? (Which I also need to order today (Sunday))).

Received my replacement chrome xl manual this morning - totally dead. Thought it just needed a charge, but no dice. No led, nothing at all; back to the support ticket page, I asked them to test the replacement battery before shipping this time.

Update: Received my second replacement chrome xl battery on Tuesday, and happy to report that it works great after 3 days of heavy use. Tim from V4L CS had written a note that he tested the battery before shipping this time. Just want people to know that you may get defective products from time to time, but please make the effort to contact customer service. They WILL take care of you, just be patient with them - they are best in the business in my opinion. Thanks again V4L!
