Honestly, until the government defines it for us via statute and penalty we will not really know.
I'm fairly sure the government is not happy about Chinese sites, and, based on like, buying medications overseas illegally it's a tough one. Thanks to Canada and the elderly it is NOT illegal to import a 3 month supply of medications but it is NOT super legal either. The main "enforcement" entails opening a fraction of such packages, and turning them back and sending you a warning letter saying "This is not illegal, but it's not legal either." It's like a very confusing letter, but like, I don't think they want to be locking up all the elderly.
For the most part, I did this with a medication called Stablon which the French did not bother to like, get FDA approval here, because, well, it's generic now so no one wants to do the studies. It actually works by DOWN regulating your serotonin NOT upregulating it, (which is weird) but it also does cool stuff to your glutamate pathways. I am convinced like, glutamate is where it is at for some people. Also, the ONLY real side effect of note is that It might improve your asthma a great deal. There was a minor push to get it marketed for asthma but it did not go anywhere.
It worked pretty well for a few years, for me. I have also imported it for family members. It's totally GREY and also INFURIATING as it is expensive..
Oh well, the beat goes on.
But my point is, it is the government that will define what is grey, black and dark, for us.
