Well, I looked around online and on old ECF forums and there's no consensus about what it could be. Some say it could be an LB88, many say rn4081 or dse103 but I don't think it looks like those either. The agreement among many is that it's proprietary and though it might fit with some of these, but wouldn't be worth spending more money on when you can get a better kit for less money/hassle/etc.

I suppose I agree, you can get a whole 2 cig kit for $30 at liberty flights and it has a 750mah battery that lasts about a day between charges. Of course then it doesn't look much like a cigarette, since that's important for you, it looks more like a fancy pen or something, or a robot's cigar.

Anyway, good luck :) If you still want the smaller sized ones, I think Bloog is supposed to be the best one out there right now and compatible with all the other KR808d-1 stuff (basically a higher tier Kr808d-1 is what it is, supposedly) or the vaporking like I said before. Most of the "looks like a cigarette" ones are just not very good, but kr808d-1 seems to do pretty well for the size.

Yay for google. Found a very helpful illustrated guide on another forum. Best I can tell it's a DSE103 which is the same as Blu.

If it's a 401, I can fully understand your frustrations with it, it was my first PV also. Haven't used it in a long while, as better equipment has provided better vapor, flavor, reliability. I went the ego / 510 / riva route, and graduated to a mod to provide the 3.7v that your 808 can in a smaller package.
When you find YOUR perfect PV / flavor / vape, you'll know, we can give advice by at this point of the technology, everyone's taste is different.
Battery-wise, I've found the more mah the better (lasts longer per charge) and the less proprietary (available anywhere) the better. YMMV

p.s. googling your criteria "808, supplier, battery" and ECF, will give you ant ECF threads with information. The ECF internal search function can leave something to be desired.
