OK, so the good news is we've finally got blanks in stock! :D

But, the bad news is they're all black. :(

SO next time, we want to do better. We want to let you match the color of your blanks to the flavors you are filling them with, or to your batteries, or just to the color you want. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get blanks in every color we carry carts in, so we need to narrow the field to the most popular colors.

So, what colors do you want your blanks in? (Since not everyone has a pantone color chart, the easiest way to specify what color you like, is to name the flavor that has that color cartridge now.)

And for that matter, right now they all come saying 0mg. Would you like a variety of mg labels to match what you are using? Or no label? Or do you just not care? ;)

I would say menthol, tobacco flav for me, green and brown/gold. I don't think mg has to be on there but flavor would be nice. I can't read the writing on the dark colored carts so this might be something to look at. Also, could the flavor be put on the cart boxes? I have to open every box to find what I'm looking for. (that's what you get for asking questions, lol)

leaford, i looked at the listing for the blanks on the web site and it doesn't say how many come in the order. I assume it is 5 for $8.95?
If so any chance of getting a bulk amount like 25 in a batch?

I would say either the colors of the batteries or plain white. I would simply label mine as per the flavor i load in them. I also had an idea you may be interested in.

I reload used carts with different flavors and thought it would be nice to have small stickers to place on these used carts to show the flavor i have in it at the time. This might also work for the new blank carts rather than lots of different labels.

Since I change flavors from one to another more than once it might be useful to just add the new sticker over the old one.

Separate vinyl (at least not paper) labels get my vote.

Whether they're separate or not, the only printing needed is the V4L logo. I want that!

I would think this would be a much more practical solution, though not sure if it is the most cost effective.

As for colors, I would go with the basics: black, white, silver, red, orange, yellow blue, green, and purple. If you wanted to get picky, I would say make a lighter, or darker (or both) versions available as well. Mg labeling I could care less about, though if you wanted, you could put 0, low medium, high, ex. high - I think that would be good enough.

I like the idea of labels you can write on, not sure if we can find something with the durability and water resistance of the current labels that we could still write on, though.

Self adhering labels you can stick on yourself might work, and as LastOutlaw points out, would be useful when refilling used carts too. (But I think it'd have to go over a pre-affixed label. Bare cart tubes get uncomfortably hot, and not everyone will bother sticking a label on.) That's certainly something to consider, but we have so many flavors it'd be pretty hard to manage workably. I'll have to give that one some thought.

Maybe we could sell stickers separately, or include a few of them with the appropriate name with each bottle?

Yeah, that idea definitely deserves some thought.

Now THAT'S a good idea! I would definitely pay a little extra to get maybe 1 or 2 labels with a five ml, and maybe 5 or so labels with a 20.

Sorry, forgot to answer this one.

Yes, it is for a box of 5, and I don't know about bulk, but I'll suggest it to Steve.

my vote for bare carts. i have been striping mine down when i soak in vodka. the glue isnt much fun to get off but does come off. as for getting hot, well that lets me know i need to give it a rest. Also, without the labels they seem to cool down faster.

did anyone ever confirm if these blanks are slotted, and if so, what the production date is on them?

Yes I think the idea of selling labels would be awesome as long as they were easily removeable or same size and shape so you could put a new one on top of it when and if you change the flavor/strength of the cart! And I think the black, white, the bright yellow(i think the hilton flavor has this color?) and the red of the redcow carts is cool!

$8.95 for a 5 pack is just a bit steep. Bulk deals might be good. I have no idea how much Steve pays for these but he did say when he received them the price would be right, so I expected them to be lower than the standard $7.95 price. Maybe it's because he lost so many to customs?

I may order a 5 pack to try. I have noticed the blanks I received from another vendor are burning out much faster than the prefilled cartos I have received from V4L. So maybe V4L's blanks are worth the money as long as they are better than the blanks other's have.

As far as colors, Red, Green, Yellow, Silver, Brown, and Black seem to be fairly common. Adding colors, without increasing the price will also be acceptable providing these carto's are made the same way as the prefilled ones are. Just my opinion.

Keep in mind that in the factory they are filled with juice before they are rolled up and put together.
It's never the same when you fill them after the "fill" is rolled up as tight as it is.

It's just common sense.
