I see that Vapor4Life has 3 kinds of blanks now Vapor King Blanks, Cool Carts, and WOW Vapor King Blanks?

I thought I understood the difference between the cool cart and the whatever it was, but what are the differences between the WOWs and the Vapor King Blanks? I thought what made the WOWs different was the juice, but I suppose this is not true.

Also, which cartomizers are soft tips?

Thinking about getting a lot of blanks soon, so I wanna make sure I get the right ones. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

That is a bit of puzzler gaijinman.....

It was my understanding that WOW only referred to juice....either by the bottle or in pre-filled cartos. If that is the case, then it shouldn't apply to blanks at all. The nomenclature is getting a bit muddled lately. Maybe just an error on the site. Personally, I would like to see system similar to software upgrades.

Example:

Old standard cartos--------VK Carto 1.0
First gen premium (hard tops)------VK Carto 2.0
Second Gen premium (soft tops)----- VK Carto 2.1
Cool Carts-----VK Carto 3.0

Same thing when juice flavors change----Cowboy 1, 2, 3 etc....

But maybe I am just spending too much time on computers and expect to see similar name systems in real life. ;)

the premuims with the soft tips are now called WOWs, regardless of what juice is in them. V4L just recently changed it.
the coolcarts are basically a higher resistance version of the premiums(now called WOWs)
the VK blanks are the old style cartos.

hope this helps.

I don't really understand the difference between high resistance and low resistance, but I like the cool carts the best for some reason.

I love Maxx's suggestion (although I also spend 18 hrs a day behind one of these damn computers)

On the other hand though, from a marketing standpoint, connotation is important. Using "names" doesn't imply a "newer and better" product. To a newbie, 3.0 could imply the latest and greatest, clearly better than the 2.1, otherwise why would they have even made them.... whereas CoolCarts and... idunno, WarmCarts (haha - or whatever) would imply two different yet equally desirable options, just a matter of preference (and plenty of people still prefer the Premium carts over the CoolCarts)

We do see so many repeat questions where people are confused about the blanks. Wow is a great name for the new juice line, but when you start adding that word to blanks as well, it can be a bit confusing, especially to a new prospect... i.e. sooooo, if I just add premium 555 juice to a Wow blank, am I now vaping Wow 555?

A number system would be much more accurate and easier to help new vapers understand things. Doubt it would ever be implimented though. From a marketing stand-point, the key is buzz words. Premium, WOW, Super, Super-duper, Super-Duper-Mega-Tasty, etc. The sizzle sells the steak. Or in this case...the carto. ;)

Perhaps what is needed is a reference page or an improved FAQ page at the V4L site. We have another line of (USA-made) juices coming which may or may not share flavor names with existing imported ones. Somebody wanting Apple flavor will have to choose between three different cartos. A few different battery designs (and sizes)....and finally Chinese or USA juice. Hell...I had less decisions to make when I bought my last car....LOL :D

This is a great video from the TED Group about too many choices for consumers. A little humorous too.

Good call Max; I had suggested we do a major overhaul of the welcome mat in another thread. A numbering system in parentheses after the trade name would be an alternative that V4L may consider, or indexing it on a link on their site (and on the welcome mat). It is up to them to clear this up imho though.

Liked the video; another relevant scene is from the Hurt Locker where the guy comes home from Iraq and tries to comprehend the grocery store with the muzak and aisles full of different brands of cereal; totally surreal - awesome movie btw
