Has anyone else noticed an increase in blood pressure since switching from analogs to e-gigs? I don't know what the cause is, but my blood pressure is higher since I started e-cigs. If anyone else has experienced this, please let me know. Thanks.

Depends on how high the nicotine is you're using, and how much you vape.

Be careful!

Once apon a time a stopped smoking and used snus instead. The levels of nicotine I recieved from Snus were drastically lower. I did experience a temporary rise in BP around that time. It regulated after a couple weeks though. I have high BP normally so the doc watchs that close with me. She seemed to think that it was due to the lowered nic levels. Same thing happened when I started vaping but in a much less profound manner.
I would say go see the doc to be sure!

Thank you all for your replies. I do vape alot more often than I smoked analogs because I don't have to go outside to vape. Sometimes I'll sit at this computer and suck on it like a pacifier. I'll go see the doc and make sure everything is OK. I have wayyyyyyyyy to much invested in equipment to stop vaping now

Yep, chain vaping will do it. I used to chain vape 36 and noticed my heart actually skipping a beat every now and again. It was pretty noticeable, as if it paused and started back up with a sudden kick. Put up with that for about a week....yeah, I know I was pushing it.

Then I cut the liquid down to 24, not the chain vaping...didn't work. Had to bring it down to 16-18mg.

My blood pressure actually went down when I started vaping. Started with 24, then 16/18, now I'm down to 11. Probably best to ask your doctor. So many things can affect our blood pressure, best to be safe. Hope you feel better soon.

As others have asked, what is the lvl of nic you're using?

For pacifier use.. you might want to consider using some no/low nic juice. Only hit the nic juice as needed.

Will vapor and throat hit be as good with lower nic juices?
Depends, but mostly no.

I use mods, so for me....I can use a 0 nic juice and still get a throat hit equivalent to vaping 16-18 or 36mg.

But then again, what do you classify as throat hit? We all have different expectations of throat hits.

The nic causes a scratchy type sensation at the back of the throat/lungs. Some don't consider this a throat hit/lung hit.

Some look for heat or the combination of the scratchiness and heat.

I prefer the heat sensation. Scratchy sensation with 0 nic is not there, atleast for me.

I'm ordering some 8mg RY4 from TheHouseofVapor right now. And I'll make an appointment with my doc next week. Thank you all for your advice. This forum has been so much help to me and I appreciate it. :thumb:

18mg isn't a lot, but everyone responds differently. The Doc appointment is a good idea as I don't think any of us that replied are doctors...so what do we really know!? :)
