I've had high blood pressure since 2005, work related stress. Been on medication since then, have lost like 20 kgs, workout 3 times a week, walk 5 kms twice a week.

Been smoke free for 3 months but BP seems higher than when I smoked. Dropping my juice nic from 6mg to 3mg (3mg tastes better).

My blood pressure actually got lower when I quit smoking but I was smoking 3 pp/d. Although, I was always on the low side, actually. I used to joke that my body ran on chemicals (most specifically tobacco, coffee and diet pepsi) and just managed the effects nicely. Although there is no way my blood pressure should be where it's at (mostly thanks to certain meds I take) when I was younger I'd actually drink a glass full of a teaspoon of salt so I could feel, you know, present and visible. I don't question this gift, just enjoy it. My mom has HBP so I know that can be no picnic at times.

That Doesn't sound like an Excessive amount by any means.

The Reason I asked was I saw one of these Blood Pressure threads one time and I asked How Much Nicotine the OP was using.

And the OP said... "Not a lot. I Vape about 15 ~ 20ml a day of 24mg."

LOL

I was in the casino last week and heard a guy talking about how his cholesterol and blood pressure went off the charts when he had been vaping for several days. He attributed it all to the vegetable oil he was using in his ecig. Told him he was lucky he wasn't dead from lipid pneumonia vaping oils. That was his reasoning for not ever vaping again. Had to burst his bubble and tell him it was vegetable glycerine and not oil. Told him I doubted vaping a few days caused all that, some people just need an excuse to keep smoking.

You can buy a BP cuff and check your BP at home or you can stop by any fire station. They do it for free.

I stop by the all-female fire station. Two towns over. Seems a lot of travel to that particular fire station. Good bedside manner is hard to find.

What state, city is that in, and is there an airport close by?
