I've been watching reviews and keep hearing that the Bloog and Volt are much better than other 808's. I've even heard that some people had written off the 808 until they tried Bloog or Volt.

Is this true from your experience?

So far, I've only tried an 808 kit from mad vapes. I really like the convenience. But, the draw is very stiff on the kit that I got. The Bloog is too expensive. But, I was considering trying the Volt as soon as I get a little more money.

Any recommendations?

The reviews I've seen on the Volt have been impressive. I've tried a Bloog and was far from blown away by it. I have a Volt kit on order to try. It'll be here on Tuesday probably.

If it lives up to the hype, I'll let you know.

Just so you know. I've been vaping for almost 3 years and moved away from the cigarette style models a long time ago because they just didn't keep up with my habit. I'm up to much larger models now and have been for awhile, but now and then I just want something small to take out with me.

I'm hoping the Volt performs as described. I'll let you know.

SteelJan, whom did a few youtube reviews on the Volt, said she didn't care for the new sealed batts as the draw was to tight for her personally as compared to the unsealed.
When I was looking for the wifes mini e-cig, I heard that V4L had a nice draw and went that route.
I am glad I did, it has a nice light airy, but not to airy draw, especially for a 'sealed' batt.
I didn't want the wife looking like she was sucking on a milkshake straw...lol.

The draw on the V4L Titan batts is the same or slightly lighter than my new CE2's & lighter than my C4+'s cartos.

ctourtelot, let us know what you think about the volts draw when you get it.

So far I've only tried one sealed auto battery and did not like it as well as their old style unsealed auto batteries because to me the draw is more open on the unsealed, although it's a pain when I accidentally get any eliquid down the unsealed. But the tighter draw on the sealed could just be that specific one battery I got. I got one manual and did not like it, pushing a teeny-tiny button to vape is tedious to me. But as for vape time, etc, they are all the same.

I looked but did not find that review. Where did you find it?

manuals are always sealed. im not sure why folks are so caught up in the sealed/unsealed for KR8s. i doubt many folks drip with KR8s and overfilling a carto is hardly an issue- just blow out and wipe off. but whatever. to each his own.

on the other topic- i have bloog, volt and V2 for KR8s. the bloogs are my favorite, then volt but the difference isnt large. V2s are unregulated so when theyre fully charged they can perform slightly better, but not for long. i believe the bloog battery lasts the longest too. :2c:

Does anyone have a pic of the entire 'sealed' and a 'unsealed' batt that has been zipped in half?

To me the draw would be the most important aspect followed by battery life, but what do I know, my first PV was a VV china tube and my next purchase is the provari.
I must say, that I am very impressed with the wifes V4L Titan e-cig and I find myself trying it several times/day with the same results. I ordered her some extra batts & chargers and threw 2 stealths in the cart for myself for 'throw in the shirt pocket and go'.

Every device has it's purpose, and if it works for you.....work it :toast:

I switched to Volts last July from Rivas, Egos and mods. Really worked out good for me. Haven't tried the sealed autos yet. I'm still using my original 3 unsealed autos and working them hard daily. Just checked the voltage on one a while ago and it's was 3.7 even though they claim 3.6. I thought it might be going down but turned out to be a 3.1ohm carto instead. Haven't noticed any appreciable loss of charge run time. I've heard varying opinions on the draw on the new sealed ones but don't have any first hand experience. I've heard a lot of good things about V4L but I like regulated. 90 to 100% of my day is spent vaping Volt. Sometimes at night I use something else just cause.

Honestly, they're all very very similar. There's no night and day difference here, you'll find some better or worse based on your own preferences.
I have V2s, V4Ls (manual, auto, and a stealth--which is the same as the "diamond series" without the bling), and a Volt auto. They're all super similar small differences (the biggest one being that the Volt is regulated). So no I wouldn't expect a dramatic difference---but some will line up better with your preferences.

Personally, finding the perfect carto resistance for my batteries has made the biggest difference for me... and sometimes I think that's a large part of what people are noting as a difference. V2 and V4L cool carts are both too high for me on anything but a passthrough (low vapor production, tight draw, and with refills vapor production gets dramatically worse). V4L wowcarts have great vapor production but burn or just die too quickly, especially on my stealth or passthrough. Volt/Smokeless image cartos are a my perfect goldilocks solution ;) But they're just as good on all my batteries, not just the Volt.

That's, of course, excluding all the customer service and price stuff. I like both v4l and si in different ways.
