Hey guys everyone raves about these two and I just received my Volt and I must say I am very disappointed. I use the Ego along with a 2.0 low resistance cartomizer smoking 24mg juice. I just don't get a very good throat hit with the volt no matter what kind of juice I put in it. Do they have low resistance carts for these? I also notice that the Volts cut off is about 5-6 seconds or so, Is the bloog a little bit longer of a cutoff from what ive heard? Im basically looking for an ecig that looks like a real one, any suggestions, maybe bloog, liberro? thanks

The Bloog cutoff is supposed to be 5 seconds also. Some batts go further. One of mine is around 5, one at 6 or 7.
Also, LR cartos are definitely not advised on a small batt.
I'm vaping Juicy Clear 24mg Creme D'Menthe 70/30 PG/VG on my Bloog and I'm getting decent TH.
How many cartos have you tried? I think one of my Bloogs is a higher ohm than the rest as I don't think it hits as hard.
Ive tried a few carts but no luck. Are you sure about the bloog?? I heard that it had about an 8 to 9 second cut off opposed to 5-6 on bloog.
Yeah, according to Leaford, they are all supposed to have 5 sec cutoffs, there are many anomalies though.

The key really is taking a slow slow drag, when you do it right you will feel the warmth of the vapor in your mouth. It's weird, but the harder you puff, the crappier it is. Took me a whole to perfect the drag off these, but once you get it you should enjoy. Also I wouldn't go much more then 50% vg if you're looking for a strong th. Sadly the cutoff is 5 seconds, at least on mine.

I use the 808 exclusively and have settled on the 2.6-2.8 ohm Ce2 as my cartomizer of choice. They are finicky but when I get them right they work pretty well.
Espplayer (sir or Ms.?) depends on your definition of power. They last the longest (highest mah rating of the small batts), but are regulated to 3.6v. A normal kr808 puts out higher voltage (4.2 at start, drops to 3.7v).
i second this. when i had the bloog...when i learned to hit it slowly it hit much better.
and ya youre very limited when it comes to cigarette style ecigs..theres a reason everyone moves up to bigger batteries
Just a suggestion if you like the 808 batteries... V4L has them... the cutoff is more like 10 -13 seconds. Hubby has tried several of the 808 batteries... bloog, volt, V2, generic.... and he prefers the Vapor4Life batteries best. (so do I when not on my go-go) They are a little more expensive than some of the others... but for the longer cut-off time, it is worth it 
Yup. Gotta re-learn vaping with every different styled kit. Slow drags are the key, timed with stopping just before the cut off.
Well, maybe the batteries, but I think the cartos run at different ohms....
You might wanna contact the vendor with this problem. I just got mine today with blank carts and it's performing like a CHAMP. Also using 24mg juice (Black Jack Mild, Gorilla Juice, my own mix I made on gourmet vapor, and BWB menthol)
Aside from my bad experience with a similar pv I had (I'm sure some are aware of what I'm talking about LOL). This actually performs well. I get warm vapor and a good amount of it. It's actually kind of hard to even reach the cutoff IMO and I usually take 5 sec drags and longer. This has got to be the first pv that specifically uses cartos that I've actually liked and will continue to use when I'm out and about.

The Bloog and Volt cartos are the same....if you are looking for a warmer vapor with an 808 carto, V4L's Wow cartos are the way to go. They are the vertical coil however....and imo even their cool cartos produce a warmer vapor than the Bloog/Volt cartos...and following what Morandir stated, their 808's are ones that start at a higher voltage.....If interested, he has his ECF Blog comparing the V4L batts with the Bloogs....and I believe there is a snippet in there on the difference in the ohms on the cartos as well, but I cannot remember for certain
The genuine Kanger cartos and batteries have been my favorite cig-sized combo so far. They don't perform as well as LR cartos on a Provari or anything, but for cig-sized, their unregulated first burst of power on a fresh carto is pretty sweet.
Your best bet for "looks like a cigarette" but hits like a champ is a 5v passthrough. You'll just need a really long extra extension cord if you want to go anywhere with it.
Sure, you can change your vaping style to maximize the Bloog vapor. But, have you considered how good a juice-box mod might feel in your hand? You'll have way more options for low-resistance, high voltage, etc.

Exactly, if your looking for more throat hit or something than get a REO grand or mini. Seems like your looking for something more than a cig look-a-like can give you. Pair the Reo up with a AW IMR and a cisco 1.5 306 and you'll achieve the TH your looking for and probably more if your using it on a grand.
