So my eV torch bit the dust and I was looking for another battery. Seemed like a good chance to try out the bloog. I just noticed that the PCC kit is $80 on the Bloog wesite, and $120 up here. Really? A 50% markup?

Bloog ships internationally too, but not to Canada. Like literally every country except Canada. Kinda feels like we're getting hosed.

It would be cheaper to have an American order one, ship it to his house, and then have him ship it up here.

Argh. Im just venting... Maybe I'll check out the Volt.

+1 for the Volt if you really want a kr8. The PCCs are useless.

I have the mini pcc, and almost 3 months in, I have had zero problems. I'll admit a little cheap in feel and finish, but knock on wood, charges perfectly every time. Not sure how yours sucked so bad dude lol..

I payed the big money on the bloog kit, and I realize I could have went a cheaper route, but at the end of the day I quit smoking so really the cost doesn't bother me that much. What pisses me off is paying tax hahaha

My Volt outperforms my Bloog in taste, TH, and vapour. It's the winner for price and performance.

I don't like the Bloog PCC I got since it doesn't charge 78mm batts. The generic ones are around if you look.

I use the 2 older style PCC's I got for next to nothing from heaven gifts. Much sturdier and a better fit for me.

Bloog as a whole is over priced...
Precisely why I am holding off on it. Either it has to come down in price or I look elsewhere for a different ecig. I can't jusify paying that right now, considering my 510 works so well. But I sooooo want a new system, so so bad! I just don't know what to get. The bloog just looks so sweet! Such an awful dilemna.

DanesPits, you shouldn't be looking down for a new system... the Bloog/Volt is a step up from the KR808 but a step down from the 510... you would almost assuredly be dissapointed.

honestly, if you are really that tight on cash, have you thought about a kit mod from Madvapes?? their 5v battery box mods are dirt cheap if you put it together and still affordable if you buy one premade.

at this point, if you are only using a 510, your best bet for a basic change of gear is to pick up an Ego battery and an ego charger... your atties won't change... and you'll go from 3.2 to 3.7v and experience a whole new vape... I also would suggest changing up your atties for the CE2 Clearomizers... I've just discovered them and they've taken my vaping to a new height that i've never experienced before.

I LOVE the CE2 Clearomizers! The leaking is the only problem. I bought a package of 5 and 2 are still unopened because the other 3 leak. They do have a great MAP tank mod on this at Clouds of Vapor.

Other than the leaking problem, the clearomizer was my best e cig experience so far.

Are they really a step down from 510? Or are you just saying that with all the 510 threaded atties and cartos, there's bound to be a better system? I find standard 510 atties to be pretty crappy.

I dunno, I'm looking at the Volt standard starter kit and it's $45. With the coupon code it's like $35. Not sure what shipping is, and I dunno if I'm going to like charging this thing all the time, but hard to beat that price. I have two ego batts, and a Sabre VV mod, so I'm really just looking for a backup. Something cig shaped would be nice for public settings. Kind of get a little vape shy when I pull those out around a lot of people.

I currently use a eGo T .. got the Volt for my mom as she is older and i wanted something with less hassle than my ego ... of course when it came in i needed to test it so i could show her how it worked and such.. after the 2 day trial period i had with it, i was sad to let it go and give it to her...i must say flavor was better, TH at par with less drag.. batteries are small but 1 did last through my workday i was impressed because people say they only last a couple hours.. morel of the story,a second starter kit was purchased with 2 extra packs of blank carts and 2 extra batts.. oh and they are auto batts which people seem to not like...volt worked great i could get some cartos on my eGo batt but than blah blah blah ...:vapor:

As far a Bloog .. never tried

i haven't had one, but i researched it hard and talked with a bunch of friends and reviewers and they all said... its a great kit for a starter or a beginner or somone who needs a cigarette lookalike... but its not as good as a 510 with a good atty.

I too started off loving 510's and then got to hate it because it was pretty crappy... well... i can tell you that it wasn't the 510 battery, it was that the atties i was using were old, burned dry (i will never ever burnclean an atty again) and they just didn't have the capability to produce any kind of vapour... fast forward to the ego atty... loved it, but again, ruined that by burncleaning and then came onto cartos and my CE2 Carto is not really a carto (ie Vertical atomizer coil) but rather a 510 atty sitting ontop of its own dripping resevoir... the atty stays wet and great tasting and even when almost empty... a quick flip upside down to help the wick bring the last bits of juice to the atty is all that's needed...

i've heard some have issues with them... i've been using one CE2 Carto for almost 2 weeks, beating the hell out of it and taking it apart to do complete pat down to change flavours and its only now starting to show signs of cracks and splitting... but when you get 5 for the price of one regular atty... its a joke... i figure that if i open my next atty and treat it the way that i really would treat any other atty, it will last even longer...

i also got the CE2 cartomizers(only difference is metal tube vs clear tube... only issue i have with it is i never know how much is in it but at the same time, i only have to flip it, try to vape and see if it stops producing to know that i need to refill it... i suspect that the CE2 Cartomizer will last me a very long time...

the flavour from these things is like nothign i've ever tasted in e-cigs... its like its directly dripped onto the atty 24/7 without ever drowning it... all i suggest doing is getting some decent drip tips because the tip that comes with it is crap and you can easilly get juice in your mouth... but i didn't care for the style of them anyways and used my own driptip till i lost it somewhere... now i just use them as is with no tip and they're just fine!!

Maybe the decision for 510 vs bloog/volt comes down to having optioins with a 3 piece PV vs a 2 piece PV. The bloog/volt is 2 piece only and limited to battery + cartomizer. Price aside, the vapor quality is very good for this 2 piece bloog/volt and works at 3.6 volts.
The 510 world has many more options incuding dripping and going to 2 piece as well. It'd be possible to drip on a carto but I don't think it comes off the same as the upped flavour and vapor of dripping on an atomizer.

another quick and easy idea is to try the Cisco LR 306 atty with a nice drip tip... OMG... i've been using mine for almost 4 months off and on and if i need a nice warm strong hit, that's where i go! take care of it, keep it wet and clean it properly (i do the alcohol soaks for 24/48 hours with mild agitation every few hours and then airdry for 2/4 days and i'm happier than a pig in mud.

or you can do like me and spend almost 400 dollars on new devices... i have 2 bottom fed juice mods, a variable voltage mod and, because i wanted to try something that was more analog like, i picked up an old style 103 style (waste of money...)

of course, now i'm sitting here waiting for stuff to arrive from the US.... ugg
