So you have had it with cart mods or finding the right cartomizers and messing around with this that and the other to try and get that perfect hit?? Tired of the mess of refilling and the hassle of spinning, clipping, cleaning, drying and condoms and whatnot?? Try a drip tip!!

Just to let you know about one more advantage to dripping. If by chance you do flood your atty, you can blow it out right through the drip tip. No muss no fuss no liquid on your lips.

Yep, I hate getting liquid in my lips and just blowing through the drip tip stops that from happening.

Are you saying you are putting your mouth on the drip tip and blowing the liquid out the connector end? If, so that isn't the best direction of flow.. usually blow connector end and out the mouth piece end

if you ARE blowing on the connector end and having the liquid come out the drip tip.. I would believe you still need to wipe it down for no liquid to get on your lips...

I have blown from both directions and have never seen a difference. I could be wrong but honestly I have never seen that one is better than the other. Please explain why one side works better that the other. I get it if your not trying to empty the atty. But if I feel the need to blow one out I keep blowing and blowing and blowing (I sound like a perv) and blowing until it's all clear and then start fresh.

Well let me know, I know you have a ton of experiance (not at blowing).

Why is it wrong to blow from the mouthpiece side??

I actually do not have drip tips yet. They are Super-T, on the way and described as such -

"Also featuring the "Wide Mouth" design, all T-tips feature a large thru hole, juice "chamber" and recessed funneled top"

Would you not be blowing juice in to the juice chamber?

I just unscrew the atty and blow through the drip tip, it's been working great, But I would wait for Geo-Ducks advice. I could be doing something wrong.

The reason being.. if you blow the liquid out the connector end you risk getting the little vent holes gunked up and clogged and effecting the production of the atty... blowing the liquid out the mouth end prevents that from happening..

If it really is a big deal.. I am not sure because I have always blew my atties one way.. so I never even chanced the other scenerio to occur ..

thanks for clarifying my expertise :D after reading this post I could have added to the confusion :p hehe

Ok and thanks, I have clogged the vent holes a couple of times so that makes sense. I just take a pin or needle and clean them out. The only one that I have to be really carefull with is the hole on the top, because if you poke around you can hit the coil, then it's game over.

I find myself forced to be in total disagreement.
:)

After hearing, for months, that an atomizer should be blown out the connector end, I have discovered that it is far better to blow it out from the cartridge end.

here is a good atty cleaning tip way back
even though cleaning and blowing are two different stories :D

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...300-newbies-guide-cleaning-your-atomizer.html

4th paragraph from the bottom

but like you said you have heard this many times... and I am sure you will hear other ways as well... but the main concern is again the vent holes

It may be fine if you don't have a gunked atty(after first day use gunking begins :) ) and you are only trying to cure a flood, but it is best practice from the connector end(at least first ;) )

Honestly though everyone has tricks and tips and what every works.. stick to that.....

I only commented because of your TOTAL disagreement :D
