if I'm going to clean out my atties with watter....the drip tip is convienient too...because one of those free oral dosing syringes that you can get free from the pharmacy fit snugly inside the drip tip...and then putting the connection end of the atty in a water bath you can just pull the plunger on the syringe and it'll draw water all the way through....
turn it upright and pull the plunger to empty the water out the syringe....and then blow through the whole mess...and slap the atty on a battery and do a quick dry burn...and good to go..

What about if you have a drip tip with a juice chamber. Won't blowing from the connector end blow juice into the chamber?

do you have a pic or link? I personally haven't heard of a drip tip with a champer, or am I misunderstanding your question?

I don't get it? are you saying that the drip tip itself hold liquid? if so then no blowing through the tip wouldn't work at all.

I posted the pic and quote. That's all I know about them. But it seems to me just the opposite - blowing through the atty would get juice hung up in the juice chamber.

I have gone from both ends also and see no difference. Since an atty when flooded, the fluid comes out the connector end what is the difference really, it leaks out there so why not blow it out there.
Are you saying you are putting your mouth on the drip tip and blowing the liquid out the connector end? If, so that isn't the best direction of flow.. usually blow connector end and out the mouth piece end

if you ARE blowing on the connector end and having the liquid come out the drip tip.. I would believe you still need to wipe it down for no liquid to get on your lips...

the difference is that loosened pieces of the gunk thats baked on the atomizer coil may easily block the airholes of the atomizer.

i see this stuff very often on the tissue i use after i blowed out the atomizer,
and thats why i still blow from the thread side of the atomizer, like its told in all newbie threads i 've ever read ( except one posted last week around here, including a video ), german or english.

blowing from the cart side, after blowing heavily from the threads should be ok and may get rid of a little bit more liquid.

I usually blow it from the "Wrong" end these days, the t-tip end. oddly I hadn't tried leaving my t-tip on, but thanks, I will now

if my lr attys start to suck, then maybe its because I blew them out the wrong way.. either way they get tossed into the used pile and I just pull out a new one. $3 these days, meh.. I'm not going to spend a lot of time pampering it. If the apocalypse comes I'll at least have plenty of sort-of-working attys I can use

I find myself forced to be in total disagreement.
:)

After hearing, for months, that an atomizer should be blown out the connector end, I have discovered that it is far better to blow it out from the cartridge end.

:2c:

I agree I never had luck blowing out my atty from the connector end. It just doesn't seem to work half as well.
