I was skimming the forums a few days ago and saw a post about someone who found garden hose plugs at home depot that fit perfectly at the end of a blu cart. I can't find it for the life of me.. did anyone else see it? The reason being I refill my own carts with my 510 and I want to do the same for blu..but I can't find out how to keep them from drying out! Thanks in advance.

Try some Electrical tape! I used to have to do that with my NPro, as I always lost the little plugs that came with them. Worked like a champ and was extremely cheap!

Just use one piece to cover the top and part of the sides, then another wrapped around it to hold the "flaps" of the top piece in place. Seals it well enough.

That was me. You can find one of my threads here. But as you will read there... and as was said right here... it apparently is hit-or-miss in how they fit. Very strange (and annoying!). It obviously fit perfectly for me (or I wouldn't have posted it). The next few people who tried it had the same success with them (one guy even overfilled his carts and put them through the ringer just to test for leakage and they were completely secure). But then - as with JTik - other people bought them and reported them being loose. In fact, one person bought some at a hydroponics store... tried them right there and they were too loose... the clerk then gave her a different package and they fit perfectly. So, I guess if you can find them at a hardware store where they'll let you try them first, then do that... after all, they're friggin' cheap. (That is, if you don't want to buy blank cartridges just to get the caps.) If you go through that thread, there are other ideas as well, such as ear plugs and screw protectors.

Volcano is now putting plugs on all their blank carts in the shop

To bad they have been out of stock for a while, and the pass through to. But they say everything should be back in stock here soon. Just waiting for Chinese New Year to get over, so they can get supplies from their manufacture. And they have a new 510 called the Magma coming out. The PCC for it looks awesome.
