blu giveaway at recent concert

M husband and son just went to a Shinedown concert at the amphitheater here in St. Louis. He said there was a kiosk where they were giving away blu ecigs. I thought that was interesting...

Either the venue management thinks e-cigs are ok (I am sure they wouldn't allow analog giveaways) and this shows support for the industry, or the blu people just snuck in under the radar and the powers that be haven't caught wind of it, therefore can't put the kabosh on it.

Of course there is always the possibility (a likely one) that the theatre management doesn't really care what they were giving away as long as they got their money.

Ive been to events where there were trucks from marlboro. They were box trucks with super nice displays inside and a walkway, they were always giving out new flavor cigarettes in little packs of 5 and tiny cans of snus. Camel did the same thing a few times, only with their snus though.

Mostly you will see things like that at places that around generally aimed at 17-25y/o age group, since they are the ones that generally dont use tobacco yet.

I'm glad, hopefully it'll get some smokers switched. Would have liked to have seen Shinedown too.

Great idea for a Promo... but I hope they were checking ID's while they were at it!!
We don't need to give the FDA another excuse to try to ban ecig sales...
