well the PLC in my provari is dying a slow death. yesterday it got really bad, it would give a error code 4, i had to tap on it do get anything out of it. the local vape shop was closed on sunday so i didnt have the option to buy anything before work. i bought a disposable blu on the way to work yesterday, i figured as something temporary at least it would satisfy my craving. what a waste of 10 bucks. it tasted like dirty gym socks and barely produced any measurable vapor. what a peice of garbage and im surprised that they seem to continue to be sold almost everywhere. the $10 price of the disposable is a terrible waste of money and $35 for a "starter kit" is insane for a product that only uses propertiary prefilled carts and produces so little actualy vapor. i did not feel like it was actually delivering any measureable nicotine and if i had to depend upon it i probably would have been looking for the nearest cigarette..... of course that's probably the general idea. sell a product that is so bad that it makes you want to continue to smoke. seems like they are more interested in continuing to keep people smoking instead of developing a product that actually works. why do people actually use these things?? i say yuck.

it's not a PLC it is a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) .... On a sidenote I started with ego twists and still have them for out and about or just extra tank or carto loaded to give me variety at home.

I used a Blu disposable as my first e cig.... just wanted to know if it was possible that I could do this... it wasn't terrible and decided to do more research here before I purchased my first kit.

Somewhere out there
I bought a blu just for the heck of it when I didn't bring any vaping stuff along when I went to the store. The menthol tasted like crap but the battery worked well, I pried the top off at home and added my own juice to it, still have it in my purse as a emergency vape. But the taste I agree is bad! bnrk

yeah provaris seem to loose the PCB after a while, its been rebuilt once before under warranty. i have had the unit almost 3 years so i cannot complain although i dont really think the provari is price competive anymore; there are so many other great products on the market now for allot less money...tesla, sid, zmax ect. i could buy 3 sids for less money then 1 provari.

If you do the math; 200.00 divided by 3 equals 66.66
Also if say you get four 18490/500 AW batts with a life cycle of 500 charges.
You still come out was ahead..
Also the repair prices listed in this thread still come out better
than buying a new mod say once a year.
