So I'm still waiting on shipping info for my starter kit. I even ordered the white kit hoping it would ship faster due to lower demand. My mistake. It has been a week and there's still no shipping info with USPS. The last info I received was through mail express or streamlite or whatever the f they're using for initial shipments saying it was accepted by USPS. This was 6 days ago. I'm down to my last pack of analogs and getting impatient. The kicker is I placed orders with both stricklyejuice and volcano cigs and both should be here in the next day or two. I ordered from them on Memorial day even! Arrggh, I know Blu has had shipping problems before, but seriously? You'd think they'd have worked out the kinks by now. Almost tempted to go down to my local smoke shop, pick up a starter kit there, and cut my losses with Blu. Ahhhh.... There, I feel just a tiny bit better now.

I've seen a lot of gripes about Blu. I've never checked out their website....

Looks like a supermini, a 401 or something similar. Short btty life, but at least it seems to come with a PCC of sorts. Yeah, you might want to invest in something else. Odds are 90% that a local storefront stocks only higher priced and lower quality models.

Cignot ships waaaaay fast. Order tonight, and you've got a good chance of seeing it Saturday, no kidding. Vicki is great. She's got a 510 super-basic starter for 35 bucks (no pcc tho, bummer with the 510's btty life). Might get you by, and you'll get it pronto. My second kit was her $65 no box w/ pcc, after having been horribly ripped off by another company... and I've never regretted the 510.

The blu is an L88b. As a former blu owner I can confirm that you should cut your losses, do not use any of the cartriges if you plan on getting a full refund.

That bad, huh? Replacement parts and carts are priced fairly cheap... so I'm guessing that "cheap" doesn't merely refer to the price here?

I have heard nothing but bad things about blu shipping. IF it hasn't shipped yet maybe canceling your order and going with something else might be the best option. If you search these forums you might even find a good supplier close to you. I was lucky enough to find one just 8 miles down the road. If not there are alot of suppliers that will ship same or next day of placing a order. Check out the suppliers review section of the forum for more info.

I won't say they suck, but Blu is really for social smokers or people that smoke less than 1/2 pack a day. If you're a heavy smoker, Blu is not for you. Stay away from high electromagnetic fields (computer servers) as these have a tendency to fry the batteries. Do not clean your atty, this will render it useless. I would recommend a KR808D-1 like the Vapor King from vapor4life. It has proved to be a real workhorse IMO.

Also, the mailexpress company you talk about-- my experience with blu's shipping went like this:
I live in NC. I got the tracking number... Found out that Blu shipped out of Charlotte, NC, which is 45 min from me so I was expecting it in the next 2 days. That wasn't the case, it was re-routed to mailexpress's headquarters in Atlanta, GA, and then sent all the way back to NC not even 45 mins from the Blu factory. You can imagine my concern with the company then, I hope.

Wolferizer, I don't want to make you feel bad in any way but for the life of me, I cannot see how anyone who found this forum would even contemplate buying a blu cig. Not in this day and age where information is readily available, there are literally hundreds of things better and cheaper not to mention the countless bad reviews easily found if just googled them.

I would get my credit card company to reverse the charges and refuse shipment when and if it arrives. At the very minimum get yourself a Hello016 kit or something with a big battery that is 510 compatible then get some 510 soft tipped cartomizers, some juice and vape till your hearts content.

Aloha, Keith

Eh?? What'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis? I've cleaned my BLU atomizers at least 5 times each by now and they still work just fine. I did end up pulling out some kind of tiny white string crap by accident though, and that seems to have made it not want to wick nearly as well as it did when I first got them, but that's not a problem either because I've removed the bridge/wick from both of my blu atomizers, and now I have a drip tip. It's working better like this than it ever did with the cartridges.

Look, BLU isn't the best by any means, but the way people bash it on this forum is ridiculous to me. Yeah the company is shady, but the product itself isn't really all that bad. I think the biggest problem is people want their e-cig to be as reliable and simple as a real cigarette, which is impossible. I haven't tried anything other than blu, but I think people get ...... because they have to fiddle with it at times. There's a learning curve here, but people don't like that because they don't like thinking in general either. Enough of the fear mongering already. It's not much better than the FDA. Just because you don't like blu is no reason to go and tell everybody who decides to try it to just send it back... Let them see for themselves how they like it. Advise people to try something better if they're heavy smokers, that's fine. But BLU doesn't deserve the kind of bashing I've seen it get here. And why doesn't anybody else seem to be telling people to go with volcano instead ?

And about mail express... They're a shipping company of some kind and most likely not run by blu, so it's not blu's fault they sent the package to atlanta. For the record, the USPS sent my order from Volcano to harrisburg and then it was "out for delivery." Harrisburg is only about an hour away, but because of them trying to deliver it in the wrong town, however they planned on doing that, I had to wait an extra day to get my package. But that's the postal service's error, not volcano. Also, none of my orders from Blu went thru atlanta at all so I don't know why yours did, Xanax.

I haven't had any issues with Blu as far as shipping is concerned. I got my order in about 3 or 4 days after it shipped every time. When I had to send back a pack and 2 batteries(two separate incidents), I got both replacement packages back exactly one week from the day I mailed them.

My only real complaints about Blu are that their product is slightly inferior to Volcano, they make false claims in their advertising, and their pre-filled cartridges suck balls. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase. I wish I'd gone with volcano in the first place, but I don't totally regret buying a blu. And I really don't understand all the bashing, at least not to the extent that it's taking place here. What's the deal?

I first ordered a Blu and the shipping for me was great. Has the unit in less than a week, but like several posts, they appear to stil have issues with quick shipments. I since have ordered a 510, KR8 and a Riva with each unit having pros and cons. I do agree that the Blu is more for the casual smoker mainly for the size of the unit and the need to change the carts often. However, I modified the Blu cart with Blue foam, and the little guy vapes really well. I am using mine as a back up and for evenings where I do not want to carry a larger unit. One thing that I will say is that aesthetically, it is a nice looking model if that is floats your boat.

I ordered my Blu kit (Black w/ light carts) on Thursday evening (9.2.10) recieved shipping information the next morning 9.3. I've been watching the tracking and while Mailexpress (now known as Streamlite) shows that the package was accepted on 9.7.10 at 11 AM by USPS at a post office approx. 5 miles from me in Kakakee and I still have yet to recieve it. The USPS tracking site of course is not updated so I have no idea if they sent it down to central mail processing in Springfield IL just to send it back to the Bradley post office. I'm sure my post man is really tired of me stalking him, but I want my kit!

I'm going to be buying a Blu and I already have a 510 and Hello 016. I just want a no fuss kit for when I go out. Frankly I suck at filling carts and I don't want to deal with my mess when I go out lol. My mom ordered one because she wants to give e-cigs a shot but she has medical problems and doesn't possess the steady hands necessary to maintain/use other brands.

I just think people could stand to be a bit more diplomatic and just say that it wasn't for them instead of "omfg send that crap back".

The Blu uses carts. And the carts are MUCH smaller than the 510 carts. You will have to refill them more frequently, so it's actually more hassle. They also have shorter battery life than the 510. Not sure where you got the impression that the Blu is hassle-free. It's anything but.

If you want no-hassle for going out, try cartomizers. You can pick up 510 cartomizers, or you can get the Kr808D-1 (which also has the benefit of having better battery life than the 510).

Walk out the door with 3 or 4 full cartomizers and a couple batts, and that's it. I just take my Kr808D-1 PCC. It has 2 slots for cartomizers, and obviously a slot for charging or storing a battery. And then, I have my assembled Kr8, with a full charge and a full carto. That will keep me going all day.

Update: Okay, just checked with USPS and the blu should be arriving later today. I likely flew off the handle a bit as work has had a fire under me all week and I've been cutting down on my analog use recently. It's been a long week, that's all I can say. Also, to everyone ragging on the blu's performance, the truth is I'm not expecting it to be some kind of amazing workhorse or anything. I'm aware of it's pitfalls. I'm also just starting out and don't even know what I'll be wanting out of vaping yet, so I went into purchasing the blu with the intentions of trying before buying. The 30 day money back guarantee was attractive to me, because if vaping isn't for me, there's no real loss. I don't have a ton of money to blow right now, and the blu will cater to my basic needs. So really, if it is honestly such a horrible product, then my bad. I'm part of the "don't knock it till you try it" camp though, so we shall see. Not worried about my refund, as I've bought volcano carts and attys, as I heard the stock blu attys are pretty much meh, as well as juice from another vendor as well. I'll return later to post my first impressions of the blu, and vaping in general. Catch you all later!

first off....NICE AVATAR!!!!! Chrono Trigger for LIFE baby!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO .......****** H*** YEAH ****** ****** !!!
ok..sorry...its my favorite RPG of all time

People on this forum really are great..for the most part and although blu might not deserve the bashing...the people are just trying to help and get the newbies to avoid the mistakes that we have all made prior...saves a lot of time and money...but it is also up to each person to reseasrch and get the info before buying...Blu is not a horrible e cig but its not good and its def bad for the money...so i would even recommend sending it back and going with something cheaper and better...just because sometimes people have one bad experience and then write off ecigs all together...ive talked to people that got ripped off by the kiosk in the mall by my house and now they think e cvigs suck!!! Luckily i got 2 of those people to try different products and now they are comepletely off analogs and happy vapers! But if someones not there to let them know and tell them where they went wrong they may die of cancer a year later..i know thats extreme but its the truth!

I like 510 attys...and i started on a 510 kit from vapor kings...it wasnt bad...all my batts and attys still work to thsi day...but i usually recommend higher Mah e cigs to people because when it comes to convenience nothing beats big battery mods...cheap batt replacement...great vapor...most are very durable...IMO they beat the snot out of any 510 kit with a 180mah batt...The others are just looking out for one another and trying to help and sometimes it may seem like bashing and it probably is...but it is all meant with the best intention!

BTW i agree with ther mailing issue...once it leaves the warehouse it is out of the suppliers hands..bottom line...usps is always great with my packages...especially priority..i will never use UPS or fedex...unless their cheaper...which their usually not!

But man...chrono....f'in..,.trigger!!!! Awesome..your avatar just brought back so many great memories of rescuing the princess and new game +...rainbow shield and sword!!! The beer drinkign contest at the carnival!!!! the trial!!! the end of time!!!! Battling Lavos!!!!! Ultima!! Lightning II!!!! man....great game!!!!!

Was that on the USPS tracking site? Or did you have to contact them somehow? My tracking site still isn't updated. Thanks!
