Some of us like the super-minis as a second PV, sometimes a small PV with great flavor is what we want. And with a little planning the battery issue just really isn't that big a deal. I usually have a Volcano with me in addition to a box mod, 801, Magma, etc. I personally don't care for high voltage but I do have a 5volt mod. I occasionally do use an ego, but it just not all the time.

Something to try if you have some L88 batteries, is the new CE2 ceramic cartos @ 2.5ohm. They really rock on these tiny batteries.

I think super-minis have their uses. I think they're not the best bet for a first-and-only PV, so I recommend the mini's instead. But a few people do find that they work by themselves, and a lot more people have them for driving, or a flavorful vape, or whatever.

I do agree with you. I started out with a 510 (and some odd ball disposable) and it didn't really work for me until I got my Volcanos. The combination of the two is what worked. I discovered that I am a situational smoker, sometimes how the PV feels in my hand has as much to do with it as the amount of vapor.

I just started vaping and used SmokeTip, ordered on a Thursday and had it on sat! Oh, and the shipping was free! I have loved it since I got it, good battery life, great flavors too. Customer service was outstanding! I had trouble with a travel charger and a set of carts and they shipped out replacements without me having to return the defects first - oh, and they paid the shipping too!!! I was impressed!!

Vaping since Sept. 6th, 2010 and loving it!!!

Just as a counterpoint-and not just for the blu, the volcano or any other similar device-you may think we're missing out, but some of us aren't. I have no interest in dipping, dripping, making my own liquids (excuse the imagery on that one!), modding, etc. I'm not getting into this to keep an addiction up, I'm using it as a means to an end. Nicotine, whether in an analog or digital is still not good, and I really have no intent on vaping any longer than I have to.

It seems to me that some of the long time vapers do a disservice to the newbs like myself, by launching into all the different models, liquids, mods etc. When I go to a restaurant, I don't want to know how the cook makes my meal, I just want it cooked. I mean no disrespect to anyone, but just throwing my two cents in the ring.
Ok good point. I guess my previous post is better served for people with no intention on quitting e cig. If you plan to quit altogether, I guess you would want it to be the least enjoyment possible.

There is a fine line though.

While I'm painfully convinced that nicotine is addictive, I am not even remotely convinced that it is bad for you.

Here's some reasons why:
Discovery Health "How can nicotine be good for me?"

Nicotine has never been the problem with cigarettes beyond it's ability to keep you inhaling the toxins in them.

Edit: With that said, and with the understanding that I have no desire to ever quit really, I'd say that I'm happy as hell with my 510's and my PCC. I never lament battery life with that charger and a spare on standby. I'm not really looking for mods, or other brands right now.

Regarding Nicotine ... I had (and still have) an elevated heart rate at rest. My doctor took me off caffeine immediately after I almost passed out with 125 bpm. My resting heart rate, although now lower without caffeine, is still way too high which my doctor attributed to the nicotine (being a stimulant) because I smoked. Now that I vape, he's equally concerned about my heart rate due to my nicotine ingestion. He reminded me that, in addition to an elevated pulse, nicotine will produce hardening of the arteries and high bad cholesterol - and with my family history - a sure ticket to a fatal heart attack. Great link though, very informative and I'm glad to have read it.

Well, yes, it's definitely a stimulant. I'll grant that one also.

Maybe "not even remotely convinced it's bad for you" was too strong. I'd revise that to read "not even remotely convinced it's bad for me". I don't have cardiovascular issues, though. If you do, you should probably take that into account as with anything.

One of the big issues with nicotine is the hardening of arteries; and from what I've read, the effect is NOT consistent. It's highly depended on your activity level, and your predispositions.

Nicotine, like most stimulants, triggers your fat cells to release lipids into the bloodstream. If you're very active, that can actually be a good thing, since you'll be burning it off. Essentially, it just gives your more energy.

On the other hand, if you're more or less sedentary, all the fats released by your fat sells when you smoke en up clogging up in your arteries, which is what causes the hardening. Add a family history of cardiovascular problems, and you can be in real trouble with too much nicotine.

This is an excellent post.
