If it is too berry-ish; then I would look at cutting the berries with more subtle fruits (at low percentages) like apple, pear, or dragon fruit. This could help to dilute the berry-forwardness; while maintaining the overall "fruitiness" of the profile. This would be similar in effect to what juice companies do. Look at any major label juice like Welsh's, Ocean Spray, or Tree Top, and you will see they often use multiple fruits in a single fruit flavor label. You might see that a "Grape" juice is made with Apple, Pear, and Grape juices.

...

And this is why I think some end up Buying Brand after Brand of some Flavoring. Constantly Chasing a Flavor that they think/want to come out of a Single Bottle of concentrate.

When if Fact, the Flavor they are Seeing is made up of Multiple Flavorings. With one or two being Dominate. But others filling In the muddy Gaps.

If you mix try this, it's one of my ADV's
I am mixing a sample as soon as I post this. :)
Okay; I have mixed up a small 10mL sample exactly as posted. Upon tasting immediately after mixing; I am getting a very distinct flavor of smarties candies. It is nicely balanced (I think the marshmallow is helping here). I am still picking up a bit of the artificial/chemical presence I was getting from the blueberry slush on its own, but I am able to minimize that (which is also similar to smarties) by lowering the wattage, without seeming to sacrifice the overall flavor. I am curious to see how/if it changes over the next few days.

This definitely isn't a slushee/icee/snow cone wanna-be, and I totally understand that @Marc411 was not presenting it as such, but it is certainly vape-able. It has also given me the motivation to play with some other variations. If I stumble across any revelations I will certainly come back and share.
I don't have the sweet and tart. I have sour but that probably wouldn't work unless I use that at super low % and use sweetener. Maybe.
Sweet and Tart (used to be called Sweet Tarts but I think someone complained about infringement) is very much the candy flavor. Sour would certainly give a "tart" note but it would do nothing for the candy aspect.

Will do. Do you find this to be a shake-n-vape? I would think from the ingredient list that is would be. I am mixing a sample as soon as I post this. :)

Joel,

It is good with a little age, after a week or so everything blends nicely and the chemical taste is gone. And please post if you find a better mix, I'm always up for a good Raspberry.

I believe you. After only 24 hours it has already smoothed out. It is a very authentic Smarties vape. The rough edges are gone and shows nice balance. All in all a well crafted recipe.

For someone wanting to replicate Smarties I'm not sure I would change anything. Maybe, once I am sure it has settled, I might try adding a smidgen of Sour just to see if it can give it that initial citric acid tartness the candy has, but otherwise I think it is a classic Smarties recipe and I am leaving it in my recipe file as such. By the way; I dubbed this "Smarties by Marc411" until you decide to give it a proper name. ;)

If any of my riffs lead anywhere I will certainly share. :D
