I am a big Boba's Bounty and Gorilla juice man. I too have been put out by the recent no stock and then closing. I have bought Grumpys Hooch on the advice of a lot of people on these forums. On the first taste it tasted a lot like an ashtray also but after a week steep it's not to bad and the more I vape it the more I like it. Let's face it there probably won't ever be an exact duplicate of Boba's but i would not jump to conclusions on the juice you just got. I definitely would give it a few days to steep at least. If it was not nasty and vape able it will only get better. I will give my opinion when mine arrives also. PEACE & VAPE HARD !!
I don't see Pepsi advertise " This is Coca Cola clone, tastes just like coke" and have a red coca cola picture behind the disciption like this clown. Try to duplicate B.B. fine. Give it a Star Wars name fine with me. This guy is shamless. The photos supposedly showing the nasty liquid bottle is terrible if it's legit.
Interesting, I got no ashy taste at all, I have mine in a boge carto, no tank right now and it tasted alot like BB and a hint of Gorilla Juice to me. But everyone's taste buds are different. bnrk
I'm glad it's working out for you. I hope it does the same for me,everybody's taste is subjective as we all know. I personally would just like an alternative. If I could order Boba's when I need it i wouldnt be having this conversation.
I hear you! It is tough when an oh so popular juice is unavailable. I can't vape BB anymore because I have an allergy to VG, I can only vape high PG juices, but I feel for everyone waiting on BB being available again. bnrk

Also I ordered one with extra sweetener and one without but the bottles I received are labeled the same

I think I ordered 70vg/30pg, either way I wanted a strong VG mix and ended up with 20% VG. Very watery. My wife appears to like it. But she seems to like anything put in her clearomizer. Letting it steep before I try it again.
Via video review, it was stated that he likes to mix it according to what he thinks is best for you, not what you asked for. Seems to have happened to me too.

Yeah. I didn't get the boba's clone, I got the gorilla juice clone. Smells a bit like gorilla juice, but sweeter/more banana. I'm almost ashamed to say I like it. Alot. I think I'm going to get another 120ml.. Can't beat the price, and AVE is STILL down.
Only ADV I've had in 3 years was gorilla juice. Who'd have thought this cheap ... juice would taste so good to me

I'm with you, I actually like it more than I like gorilla juice.
Ill continue to buy as long as the price stays low. I can look past the creepiness of the owner and the overall lack of professionalism for some good cheap juice lol

I just received his Boba's clone and it smells like a mix of Bobas and Gorilla Juice. Juice looks great. and I can't wait to load into my tank.

Kind of hard to "steal customers" from a vendor that sells their juice using the "Black Friday Sale" business model where it's only available for a few hours each week, and in interminably limited quantities. If AVE doesn't want to lose customers to other vendors, perhaps they might consider making their juice in larger batches.
Personally, I applaud anyone who can give vapers an alternative for quality juice without having to play those silly "Black Friday Fire Sale" games.

Which do you like more the sweeter one or the unsweetened? I like the one I got but i think it's just a bit too sweet the the sweetener added. Gonna steep it, but I might cut it down a bit with unflavored.

I think they both have sweetener added, they taste pretty much the same
