As you all know I have huge boba's fan, but as we all know it's not the best wicking juice out there. So I decided to go on a quest to find the best Boba's wick for my genesis atties. I went to McMaster Carr and ordered every mesh from 200-400, and did some experiments. The winner, hands down is the 200 mesh .16mm!! This thing wicks Boba's like a dream. No Tilting, can chain vape and doesn't flood when not vaping. I'm telling you this 200 mesh is a Boba's dream. Massive amounts of vapor, perfect flavor. I haven't tried the 200 mesh .21mm yet because I stopped aft the .16mm. I just don't think it can be better.

If you own a Genesis Atty, and you are a Boba's fan, try this 200 mesh. It's dirt cheap, like 5 bucks for a 12x12 piece. I will vouch for the performance. I don't know how the 400 mesh and 325 became the vaping norms, but whoever came up with those meshes are dead wrong. Plain and simple. The 200 .16mm wicks so much better, not even close. I have only tried Boba's and HeathersHV apple butter rum cake 100VG juice. I didn't want to waste my bobas running tests. Link below...

Added: I am going to test .21mm just to compare the two, I will post the results, but I just don't see how it can be better than the .16mm.

Keep on Vaping!!

So, how would you rate the 400? Have you used it before? What is it about the 400 that lacks from the 200, in terms of taste (is it only a wicking issue)?

I think the flavor is the same across the board when wicking right, but good wicking = better flavor imho. It's just with the 200, no tilting or waiting between vapes.

It's wicking so good, i'd like to see AVE carry it. Kind of a one stop shop thing, but they have enough things to worry about atm.

Hello all. I am new to posting here but I've been readin this thread for a while. Just my opinion but 500 mesh seems to rock with anything I try it with

I'm having trouble finding a good source of 500 mesh. McMaster has the same type as the 200 mesh, but it's $115 for a 12x12 sheet as opposed to $5.50 for the 200 mesh...

I'm vaping Boba's with 500 mesh and it is better than anything I've ever used including the 200. I have a full sheet so I will revisit it.

Did you ever get around to doing this test? I'd be really curious. I don't think I've ever used 200, but I've used 216 and it wasn't all that great, using 500 now but keen to try anything if it wicks better ;).

Ok, i have just rolled my first 200 mesh .16mm (my first rolled mesh ever btw) that I bought from McMaster (which came in a box 100 times bigger than the actual product) and it's wicking nothing like the 325 that came with my AC9, my head is spinning due to the nicotine OD while trying to get a dry hit. I can't wait for the wick to break-in to start getting some serious flavor from my almighty Boba's.

Thanks to gordong11 for sharing.

I would agree with that thread. I've vaped a couple hundred ml of Boba's in genesis attys/hybrids and find the 500 is hands down the winner. I tried 200 and 400 as well but the 500 wicks so much better.

Unfortunately its really hard to compare with so many variables. Heck its hard to make 3 wicks that work the same even with the same sheet of mesh.

But for me with AVE juice its 500 rolled fat with not much material and honking big hole. After the first few hours of break in I never have to tilt past horizontal with either my AC9 or iHybrid mod.
