such an odd flavor... my immediate reaction was negative, because i don't like coconut, but the coconut notes are so subtle that I didn't really mind....

Most of the above guesses contain a common ingredient: molasses. It's in cola and graham crackers. I think in concert with the right tobacco base, molasses could taste a lot like a burnt coconut. I have also noticed a honey flavor which could do the same thing. Honey flue cured with molasses?
Like you, I do not taste coconut in Bobas. However, Bobas and Casablanca are totally different to me. I get tobacco flavor from Casablanca, but not even a hint from Bobas. To me, Bobas is predominantly honey-flavored with lingering honeycomb-wax taste. Very odd that everyone gets different flavor from Bobas.
Was going through some of my older juices and came across one that tasted very similar to Bobas. It's Butterscotch from NHaler. Given the similarity, could the secret ingredient be Butterscotch?
I am vaping on some Boba's Bounty that I just received last week. It is the third order of BB I have received. It has always been a great vape. But this batch is definitely different.
It's weird because the first few days it was okay, but yesterday things went to hell. It is spicy and actually sort of numbing my mouth. Any idea what could be going on?
I am using it in an eGo Mega and also an Ego tank. Same effect with both PV's.

It's probably been right in front of my face, but which vendor makes Boba???
I highly doubt Ben is ever going to give up his recipe to Boba's or any other juice he makes however I personally think Boba's has snus absorbed in it.
I once loved Boba's ... until I discovered Gorilla Juice that is

For me, I think its a good tobacco base with kind of a cocoa/cinnamon tea flavor. Absolutely awesome juice.
I'm tasting Boba's for the first time on a 3.7V box mod with a new LR 306 atty that I picked up from AVE.
I picked up on "coconut" right off the bat but it's quickly fading. Really hard to place. Love it! First few vapes were questionable. Not negative, just lit up a big question mark in my head. Now it's growing on me fast.
Just tried Halo Torque 56 and Tiki juice for the first time yesterday too...what a week! They both have me guessing too. Vaping is really amping up my quality of life
I'm not sure what I'm tasting in the Boba's at this point but it reminds me a LOT of using a hookah. Hookah tobacco is treated heavily in glycerine, so maybe it's the 100% VG I'm picking up on. Most of my juices are 20% VG...

Ok I know this is a never-ending paradox, but I have this vision in mind to describe my Bobas experience.
If there were such a thing as a graham cracker tree, the fruit would taste like Bobas. My only other thought on it is that it was an accidental discovery after mixing flavors one day, perhaps all the ones mentioned previously, kinda like when you mixed all the sodas in the fountain together as a kid. Oh hey let's call it Bobas and put 1% of 10 flavors into it. It would explain the variance of taste, but I do like to try and imagine taking a bite of my graham cracker fruit when I vape it lol
