Boge cartomizer problems

Hello

I started with smoktech dual coil with premade holes. No problems wat so ever.
Now i read a lot of people where pretty happy with the boge so i tought give it a try.
First i made a 2mm hole flooding, then a 1,5 mm Hole still flooding then a 1 mm hole no more flooding but they work fine 4 one day.
Then the boge cartomizer starts too lose vapor production and say end of second day flooding again.
What am i doing wrong ???
I use a zmax v2 from smoktech and a agr lock tank with xl boge sr my eliquid is 70pg/30vg and i have set it to 5 volts.
Can somebody give me some tips i am getting very frustrated.

I wonder if you might be punching your holes too deep and hitting the coil. Try punching your holes a little higher or lower.

When you get a loss of flavor and vapor try a couple of unpowered dry pulls. That will force juice into the cartos and hopefully equalize the pressure inside the tank.

I think you have the hole sizing worked out and 5v with a 3 ohm carto is fine. In addition to what tmcase said, I've noticed that some juices gunk up the coil significantly faster than others. I've definitely noticed this with dark juices like coffees, so much so that I only use these juices in Vivi Novas so I can dry burn the gunk off regularly. I also experience the flooding when the carto is at the end of its life. Don't know if this is correct, but I attribute this to the coil getting so gunked up it's restricting the center air hole.
