I just got one, I filled the carto, put it in the tank then filled the tank.
Used it all last night just fine (it worked great) but this morning it had a slight burnt taste.
It is pre-punched with 2 holes, but the liquid in the tank looks as if it has not been used at all.
I'm guessing it's not refilling the carto.
Has antone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it?

My issue is, I purchased a 5 pack of additional carto's. Do you think it's possible to modify them? Maybe add a hole or make the pre-punched holes larger?

Pick yourself up a carto punch. This is a good one:

V2 Cartomizer Punch - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

ETA: Other vendors sell cheaper ones, but they get dull quicker. If you want I can find a link to a cheaper one.

Oh, and for your pre punched cartos, the holes are probably too small for the juice you're using. Just bore them out a little wider with the punch, and they'll be good. Also, take some primer puffs (without power) on fresh cartos to help moisten them with the juice from the tank. You can also do this if they are getting dried out while in use.

I haven't used an F16 but I do use a DCT with prepunched two hole cartos. Take a couple good no power hits and see if you notice any bubbles in the juice. That will give you an idea if you're getting juice in the carto. What ratio juice do you have, heavy VG?

I just did that and I did see a few bubbles each time I tried it. I currently have a 70PG/30VG in it. My normal vape is a 50/50.

Thanks for the info. And yes I would like a link to a cheaper one if it's no trouble.

You really have to prime the cargo in a tank especially when its been sitting a while (overnight) . Just take a bunch of strong pulls without hitting the button. Do this until its saturated (take tip off and make sure you see juice it should look a little too wet.

I initially filled the carto before putting it in the tank. Is that just a one time thing for every new carto, or should I refill the carto often?

Boge 2 hole Flanged Cartos work fine and the LR ones are very nice on a mech mod. If your juice is a little thick it can cause slow wicking. Normally a few power off hits will prime it and your good to go until it is sat aside for a long period.

Remember to - A tank is a tank is a tank. Whether it is an F16, a smoke skinny or a beautiful $60 custom Glass. The tank is simply the container for the juice.
All performance is between the Carto and power supply.

Should only need t oadd anything in the Carto the first time, or if the tank/carto is Vaped empty.

You only have to fill the carto once. You may have to take primer puffs every once in a while to moisten the filler, but I don't like mine as moist as BigCypress suggested, because I find this gunks up my cartos quicker, and then they need to be cleaned.
