This thread is ONLY for those who have ordered from Bogger Box Mods and are having issues getting the items they have paid for.

I ordered an "in stock" bogger box dna20 mod on October 13th. Before I placed the order I read through the sites FAQ's and saw that "in stock" mods are usually shipped in 24 to 48 hours. Right after placing the order I emailed Marcus (the owner of Bogger Box Mods), and inquired when the mod would be shipped. Most of the time when emailing the company you get an automated response, which I did, but I then received a personal email from him stating that I would be receiving a shipping notice within 24-48 hours. Well, in the 16 days that followed, I sent 5 more emails, and none received a personal response. On October 29th, I received a "pre shipment notification " (meaning that a label had been printed, but it had not been dropped off to the post office for shipment.) 5 days later....the package has still not been mailed. 21 days total....no mod. Just to clarify, this was an "in stock" mod...not a "custom mod".

Please feel free to share your story if you have ordered from bogger box mods and are having difficulties receiving the items you paid for. Bogger box mods is no longer a registered vendor on ECF, and the company's vendor thread has been closed. I will continue to update this thread with my own experience as it unfolds.

He is definitely alive...as far as I know, no one who has received personal correspondences from him have been given any indication or reason to believe that health issues are behind his inability to fulfill orders. If there was that indication, it might make this current situation a LITTLE more easy to swallow. If a vendor has personal issues that make filling orders impossible, it needs to be disclosed, and they need to stop taking new orders until it is resolved.

Having been involved in the other thread, and trying to get my mod fixed, I can tell you that he just stopped working on anything. He took everyones money and that was it. He would not answer phones, emails or PMs. He went so far as to delete posts from his facebook page as well. (I think he stopped deleting posts from his face book, but since I do not do face book, I do not know.)

I just purchased a custom DNA20 mod on Sat. I will update once its received but the website says 30-40days for custom mods.

I really hope you get your mod in a timely manner. Unfortunately, most "custom" bogger mods are taking 7 months or longer, if they ever are completed and shipped. Please keep us updated. I am going on 22 days for an "in stock" mod order, and it has yet to be shipped. The owner is Not responding to my inquiries about the order status.

Do we have any members that live near him or maybe friends. I had an issue similar to this and called local police dept. they gave him a visit and I had my money back that day. I'm not sure that is needed here but time is not on your side in an issue like this. Good luck and let's hope there are no serious personnel issues causing this problem with him.

The most worrisome part of this situation as a whole is learning that people are continuing to order mods...I really want to get the word out there to everyone about what is going on, so they can avoid this headache. Personally, in my case, I have no clue how to handle this. I think he printed out my shipping label to buy himself some time, and eventually he will most likely say it was lost in the mail, even though it hasn't actually been mailed (as was reported by another customer in the original bogger vendor thread)

I have two orders ... one custom one ordered in May, and another ready made one. Both haven't shipped and haven't heard from Marcus in a while. I was following the official thread for a while, hoping that I would hear back from him since some people were eventually receiving their mods there. But now that's been shut down, I don't think I'll be seeing the mods or my money.

When did you order the "in stock" mod?

I ordered on 10/21. Label was printed 10/23. Shipped from Clovis, NM 10/28. Delivered in NYC 10/30.

Is it really as dire as all that? It seemed to me pretty normal for a guy running a small business, maybe on the side with a normal life and other interests.

I know how it is with hobby money, especially with it harder to come by these days. But maybe take a deep breath and a deep vape, and let it work itself out. But then, I didn't have to wait no 30 days for no response. Still... cops? Really?

Idk, if you're running any business, you're entitled to let your customers know what's going on with your products and if you can deliver, if you set a standard of shipping "in stock" mods within 24-72 hours, you should meet it. It seems a bit sketchy to me, I was gonna order from Bogger until I read irukandji9111's post a couple days ago. Sucks that he's not even responding back, good luck man.

I'm glad to hear your experience was more positive. At this point, it seems like you are in the minority. No...I do not find it normal for any business, small or large, to tell a customer via a personal communication that items ordered would be shipped in 2 to 3 days, and 22 days later the product has not shipped, and no attempt to respond to customer inquiries are being made. It is not normal...

You are also not allowed to charge a credit card for an item being stipulated as "available and ready to ship" until/unless it is actually available and ready to ship.

I sure hope the OP paid by credit card. After 20 days running I wouldn't be sitting here waiting/wishing/hoping a miracle might finally happen. Maybe. I'd be disputing the CC charge citing "failure to ship." That's a no-brainer when it comes to a CC dispute. Bogger would get 30 days to reply and show proof of delivery. If he can't (duh) - or more likely doesn't respond to the card issuing bank inquiry at all - you get your charge permanently reversed. I don't care how nice the mod may look - not receiving it isn't acceptable.

I tried to do this very thing. I posted a thread in the vendor thread, sent PMs to everyone that I saw talking about buying one, and got ECF moderators involved. The problem is that people do not do their research prior to dropping down $200. Marcus ran a good business for about a year. He responded to customers and provided product as per his web site. Then all of a sudden he quit. He never said why he quit, he just did.
