I just received my shipping notification and tracking number (ordered Saturday or Sunday)

Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk

"Pre Shipment" notification, or did he actually take it to the post office? Does it show an acceptance at a Post Office location? He sent me tracking information on the 29th, but he never actually took it to the post office. All he did was print a label....

Fingers crossed yours actually makes it to the post office...

Well, I received a personal correspondence today from Bogger (someone named Chris) about my "missing" mod order. I was not surprised to receive the response today, because I stated in my last email to them that I would be starting a CC dispute today if I didn't hear back from them. Of course, now they are claiming the post office lost the package, which is an absolute lie. Having dealt with USPS tracking for years, the Post Office cannot lose a package before they even receive it!!!! The label was printed, but it was never shipped. It was never scanned at the post office of origin. I'm assuming they are doing this to buy themselves some more time or something....the USPS will have no record of a package, because they never had it!! I responded to todays email by saying that if I didn't receive a tracking number for an ACTUAL package within 48 hours, I would be disputing the charge. I'm pretty much done with this....Marcus and "Chris" have no credibility. Below you will find a copy of the email they sent me today...
--------------

Hello, Your order was indeed shipped with the supplied tracking number in your account and shipping confirmation email. We have contacted USPS and will find out where it is and if needed we can ship out a replacement immediately.

Thank you
Chris

I have filed a transaction dispute with my credit card company. It has been A full month from the time I ordered an "in stock" dna20 mod, and it has never arrived. I will also be contacting the better business bureau and the appropriate business oversight offices in New Mexico. As the dispute process goes forward, I will keep this thread updated.

Well, as unfortunate as it is to find others this has happened to...I'm glad I found this thread. I'm also one step away from contacting my bank. My order was put in(and money withdrawn) on 9/2/13. A few weeks ago I figured it had been quite a long time that I hadn't received the box(it took so long I had literally forgotten about it) and decided to send him an email requesting a status on my order just to see what was going on. I never received a reply. So a few days later I sent another similar email but this time voicing my concern that he had taken payment and I had yet to receive the item I paid for as well as failing to reply to my inquiries. So I waited another few days and just about had it. I sent him an email stating that if he or someone from bogger box didn't contact me regarding my order I'd file a claim with my bank and take my concerns to the ECF forums and voice my concerns publicly. Unsurprisingly, he ignored that email as well. I will be contacting my bank Monday.

There is no excuse for running a business like this. If you're too busy, stop taking orders. It's common sense. If you don't have time to reply to emails, either hire someone who can help or you have no business taking people's money and just blowing them off. I've just had it with this clown. I have taken screen shots of my entails to him as well as my order date and info in my account on his site in case he tries to delete the order info. I'll include those in my complaint to the bank and the bbb.

I used to think his boxes were beautiful...but to be honest...if I see one I'll think of how sloppy and crooked the person who made it is.

do you not have a small claims court in the us were you can take small businesses and at least try and get your money back plus may be some form of damages you also need to check to make sure he has not gone bankrupt

Winning a case in small claims is a technicality. It doesn't mean you will be able to collect on the judgment, just the right to try and collect on it.

Thank you for coming forward and sharing your experience. Was the mod you ordered "in stock"?

Wow.... I thought I was the only one. I ordered a custom Bogger Box on 07/25/13 and have not received my purchase. I have contacted him by phone and email and have not received any communication. I think I am a pretty patient person, but I would like some type of update or reason as to why I paid for an item and it has not been mailed out after 3 months. I think it is sad that he was more than happy to contact me, when I was willing to spend my money and answer all my questions.

You are certainly not alone...many of us share your frustrations, believe me! The situation is a nightmare. Thank you for coming forward with your story. I really think the best course of action is to start the dispute process with your CC company. Based on a super majority of people who have come forward to share their stories, a custom mod can take anywhere from 6 to 9 months to be delivered, and in most cases, is never delivered. His website still states that the wait time on a custom mod is 30 to 40 days, and in stock items are shipped in 24 to 48 hours. That is what he is publicly advertising. At this point, with everything I have seen and heard, I am recommending that anyone who has made an order and has not received shipping notification in the advertised timeframe, should start a purchase dispute for non shipment reasons. Personally, I think Marcus is a cheat and a liar. He has lied to me on two seperate occasions and I have proof to back it up. He is committing fraud, and he is breaking the law. I continue to hope that this thread is reaching anyone who is considering a future purchase from the company, with the hope that they might avoid the frustrations that so many of us are going through.

It was a "custom" box but the custom boxes(according to the literature on the custom boxes page) states that it takes 30-40 days minus weekends and holidays. Even after taking out the weekends and holidays, the box is still way overdue. In all honesty my problem isn't my impatience at all. In fact, up until about a week ago I never sent a single email. I figured, don't bug him and let him do his job. But my problem is more with the ignoring my concerns and emails. Hell, even if he would've replied and said "sorry about the delay but I'm still working on it" I would've been totally ok with it. But to just ignore me after 3 lengthy emails while all that I was politely asking in the first and second email was just an update on the progress of my box. I even said: "if you still haven't started it's fine. Just either start and give me a date they it will be ready or just refund my money and no harm no foul" but I didn't even get a word back from him at least reassuring me.

For those of you that have created a claim with the bank, can you tell me what I should say or do? Do I just tell them I paid for an item that I never received? Also, where can I report this misconduct so that it will be seem by the majority of people(other than here of course)? I'm guessing better business bureau website?

I couldn't agree more. He would literally entail me back minutes after I'd email him with a question when I wasn't sure of what options to order. Them once he had my money and didn't build my box he became impossible to get a hold of. That's just downright sketchy.
