Thank you for taking the time, and for your attention to detail! Please don't let yourself get ground-down. Any time I start to, someone comes to my rescue and has an intervention - so that's what I'm doing here. :) Thanks!

Thanks Adrenalynn, that means a whole lot coming from you. I got your back too, your contributions to this forum are truly incomparable; keep up the great work.

BTW, loved your post with the exponential sales growth. I was guessing more of a power fit or geometric progression, but this is amazing! Couldn't happen to a better company, hope it doesn't turn into a 3rd or 4th order poly though; only time and the FDA will tell! :)

Jam - thank you! But I stand on the shoulders of giants. DVAP has done some very important chemistry work in another area of the forum, if you haven't ventured out. Worth checking-out his work out too!

I personally found your presentation excellent, if I may be so bold. I was able to absorb it in its entirety in only one full pass. My eyes scanned right to left, moved down, then left to right. Only that one full pass was required to understand your work. That says to me that it was super-well laid out with the pertinent information presented in a way that didn't require any undue focus to internalize. That's not to say it was oversimplified - it was exactly right (in my humble opinion) for your audience, but also important for those outside of it. A skill I lack, unfortunately! So kudos from me, FWIW.

Symmetric was the first to undertake presenting the growth by order number, I believe, here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/68046-perspective-numbers.html . I think I was just the first to do a regression analysis to establish a trendline. He later invited me to assume ownership of the future work and offered-up his raw data. I haven't posted his and my raw data because I suspect it's a competitive advantage to V4L's competition to have the left axis numbers - and I'd rather they work for it. ;) The amazing thing is that to this point the fit has been so good I haven't bothered with error-bars. I'm not sure, of course, if we're seeing a new trend emerge or if we have outliers this last month, but the fit isn't as great now as it was. Of course, no exponential growth is sustainable (as you note) - at some point growth outstrips resources. I wonder if we're going to see that their stock levels prevented them from maintaining the _perfect_ exponential growth they've enjoyed for the last six months plus.

A lot of smart people here, and I enjoy interacting with [most] everyone here, but it's nice to find peers in the sciences too! So sincere thanks again for your work!

Adrenalynn, so wise yet so humble; no more can I say. I will track down some DVAP threads as I am always interested in the scientific postings.

Regarding the order trends, what's interesting to me is that there does not appear to be any deviation from the curve due to random sales events; I would have expected to see a few small spikes here and there. I guess it shows that there is enough interest and growth without incentives, or people would've ordered anyway; or, perhaps V4L has had more success marketing outside of the forum, which is a variable I did not previously consider. Very interesting nonetheless :)

Ahhhh.....sorry jamvector

Didn't mean to sound like I was offended. It meant I was too lazy to read it never mind do it. I actually run mine through scorching hot water as these do need to be cleaned often.

No apologies necessary, my only point being if you aren't interested in someones post, don't bother to read it; just move on.

I should clarify however several good reasons to boil vs flushing with hot water. Skin burn begins at around 130 F, "scalding" water is perhaps slightly higher but certainly under 150 F. Boiling at 212 F will kill most if not all micro-organisms and bacteria that are being "cultured" in the discard pail. In addition, the juice residue is more soluble at higher temps and you will get a much better sanitized clean if you boil.

There are some who prefer to sanitize the carts with alcohol; cheap vodka, everclear, etc are often promoted for this purpose. This does work well for sanitizing the carts and pieces, but will not clean the coil and batting as well as boiling water.

That being said, the one major flaw in the technique I posted from a health and safety perspective, is that rinsing the mouthpiece parts in hot water does not sanitize them. Next time I perform this procedure, I will be dropping all the mouthpiece parts in everclear or vodka after rinsing them off to improve sanitation.

Lastly, per some of the more recent posts, BE CAREFUL WITH BOILING WATER, IT IS HOT! I think it is safer to pour the water into a pail containing the carts, wait until the water is cooled to a tolerable temperature, flush, shake, and dry.

I was wondering why your axis weren't properly labeled......everytime I looked at that chart it just seemed difficult to interpret. Now I know why!

ps. Great post JamVector!!

Yup - you have the base number and the peak number, so you have scale. Beyond that, I just didn't see a reason to give away the farm... If someone knows their math, they can derive any point on the line from the equation given and the base and peak numbers - but again they need to work for it... I just didn't want to put V4L at any disadvantage due to my obnoxiousness. ;)

Well done sir! I gotta say Im one of those peski noobs that asked this question a few days ago. But Im glad to see it in one simple step by step procedure. Very detailed but not overly complex. I too came on today to see what methods peeps were using to clean their cartos. Glad you took the time! Saved me the hassel of scrolling through bunches of threads and posts. I figured I knew how to go about doing it. But I wanted to make sure I didnt do something wrong. This def helped with all my questions! Great Job Jamvector!

I just nuke some water in a small glad container until it start to bubble and boil. Then I throw the carto's in and let them soak. Pot/pan/stove welcome to the new millennium...

Good tip Luke; others make sure you do not put the metal carts in the microwave though! (Believe it or not, there is a distinct possibility that someone would do this by accident)

    great info Jam.

I'm still a NuB (4 weeks vaping) and I came on the forum to look for info on cart cleaning. Soooooooo nice to find everything I need to know in one place. I was going to try to clean my carts today but I couldn't get the hard caps off - now I know what I need to do, so I guess I will try again.

Thanks for putting all of that info into such a concise thread.
