Was just wondering how people have been drinking and vaping, like on a quite heavy night out. I seem to have gotten super drunk lately, although perhaps I am just a lightweight ha

I have felt no changes when drinking since I've started vaping (as far as the alcohol affecting me). When out drinking, the only time I'm not vaping is when I'm taking a drink.
Somewhat off topic: I have, however, noticed that I wake up without my throat/chest feeling like I smoked 20 cigarettes the night prior. Because I didn't.

I'm not much of a drinker. I'm a lightweight at best, when it comes to drinking. With that said, I have not noticed a difference. I still get buzzed on 1 drink the same as before I started vaping.

Had some of my favorite rum the other night. Been a while, but it seams to have worked faster than before. I was so surprised I did not want an analog. I was hesitant to drink because of that. All was good though.

Seriously, when I smoked and I had a really good buzz going on, if I didn't smoke at least one cig/hour, the nicotine buzz would almost knock me out.
I stepped off a Mardi Gras float in 2010 after a particularly long ride, during which I drank quite heavily (maskers usually do). I lit a cigarette and got about halfway through before I couldn't see, couldn't walk and couldn't talk. Folks thought I was having a heart attack.
I have since learned that the "nicotine buzz" is actually the effect of the Carbon monoxide in the smoke, which affects the ability of blood to carry O2 to the brain. Since there is no CO in vapor, that problem has gone away.
im irish and quite like a drink and from ive started vapeing its hit me more lol, the reason being that when I smoked I went outside to the air and the drink hit me but as im vapeing indoors I aint going out as much lol. after a night drinking when the air hit me it really does hit you to speak lol but on the weekends I still have my cigars as its my traditional weekend thing which might stop after a while of vapeing. ive noticed while drinking but I need stronger nic as my cravings get bad but its mostly as im new to vapeing really. its weird not getting up with a cough as much but its a good weird.

I was indulged pulsing a new coil on a genni .
Did that much wiggling of the coil the wick had slid down into the tank .
I put the bottom-fired Sig 19 on the table and proceeded to adjust the wick and coil with my fingers .
Noticed the coil looked to be glowing even before the sozzled-nerves "move fingers" instruction got through !
I get the urge to vape when I drink much like I use to get the urge to smoke when I drank. As far as being more susceptible to alcohol when I vape...not sure.
I had the chance to test out drinking and vaping this week. I was very nervous about it as I normally smoke a lot while drinking. I was really surprised to find that I did not crave a cig while I was out and I noticed that I actually drank less. I've always had to have a drink (soft drink, coffee, or alcohol on occasion) when I smoked and water never quite cut it for me for smoking. I found that I was able to drink plenty of water and was able to savor my drinks more while vaping. It was a really nice experience. Also felt much better the next morning!
Both vaping and alcohol make you dehydrated. Keep up the water, and you'll be fine. I drink a glass of water after every 2-3 drinks.

I have a theory. We now have more oxygen in our bloodstream. The alcohol gets pushed through our systems quicker.

A lot of great replies here! I will try and drink some water inbetween pints of cider, beer and guiness ha! I did go out in a small smoking area last night and the smell was overbearing!
