Whats with all of the English teachers? How intelligent are we to ever have started smoking? My peeve : arrogance with ridicule for others, reinforcing a false sense of superiority in yourself, when in reality, humility and kindness is the path to victory.Don't forget what people are here for.To break loose from the curse of our bad decision to start smoking. From my point of view, all smokers have been somewhat guilty of an intelligence deficit to have ever smoked the the first one.Hopefully vaping will be a tool that is useful to many of us in the struggle for a healthier lifestyle.

You forgot to put a space after your periods.

1) being a total newbie and stumbling on to ECF and not understanding anything people are talking about. Then after researching terminology and such finding out just enough to feel sorta ok about trying out a certain starter kit. Find another thread bashing that kit you were about to try. Get a headache. Finally deciding to buy the darn kit anyway.

Well, just as long as you bought an Ego/Riva........

When they congregate to look. Just today I was having coffee and the entire wait staff across the street was sneaking peeks. Each peek kicked off some sort of verbal exchange like they were the justices of the supreme court.

Video peeves:

I second the peeve mentioned earlier in the thread about having to put up with people actually vaping on their videos to "demonstrate" how much vapor is produced by the juice or device being reviewed. Watching other people vape is stupefyingly boring, especially when they take multiple tokes to give themselves time to figure out what the hell to say.

Also, videos that start off with long heavy-metal music intros. Don't these people listen to listen to any other kind of music???

Videos with the aforementioned too long heavy-metal music intros recorded at eardrum-breaking volume of about a thousand decibels. After I scramble to turn down the volume, the person finally appears and starts talking on-screen, but THAT audio is recorded at such low volume that I can barely hear the voice. Aaarrgh. Similarly, videos with sophisticated graphic intros containing fades. wipes, and other fancy-schmancy editing, followed by live video of the person that is low-res, badly lit, out of focus, and crudely shot.

"First impression" videos, where the person opens the package they just got in the mail and then gives moronic "reviews" such as, "Hmmm. Tastes pretty good." Spare me.

10-minute videos that waste my time by having only about 30 seconds of real informational content.

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet so its probably just me. Getting home and deciding you want to change your flavor so going over to your juices (I have a rolltop desk dedicated for my vaping gear) and sitting there with 100+ flavors and not being able to decide what to vape. The 2nd part of that is having all those flavors but being in the mood for some obscure flavor that happens to be the one you don't have...this is how I ended up with too many flavors to begin with.

My other would be only having one podcast related to vaping, I listen to podcasts during my commute and love vaporcast but really wished there were more.

...and never end a sentence with a preposition:

Is properly stated "Don't forget that for which people are here".

I'm no English teacher but pet me; I'm your peeve!

You obviously are NOT; for this 'feature' is perfectly idiomatic. Furthermore, the entry you went for is radically different as it translates into a much more formal register; virtually changing the very spirit of the sentence.

BTW: I AM a teacher of English, so 'pet me; I'm your peeve!'

Never start a sentence without a subject (unless it is a command, negative advervial, or any other pseudo-exception...). You should have included the subject-pronoun; 'It' before verb (to) be.

Getting free juice samples is really nice but they do not note the level you order (I use 12mg) and send a HIGH level nic juice instead. Now, I love the free samples but, I get such a BUZZ on them that I taste them and if I like the flavor I order it in my level of nic. I can imagine it is really irksome to someone who uses zero nic in their juice. I am trying to wean myself off the nic for health reasons (high blood pressure).

I have bag full of samples that I will never use!

You could always give them to someone, but that does suck. Nothing worse than getting free stuff you can't use. I haven't got any free samples but I haven't made any pre-made orders aside from a few 10ml bottles of tobacco flavor I ordered with my PV. I did however order some 6ml bottles of flavor from OSDIYS that were upgraded to 10ml for free, which was nice. I spent all of my available funds on DIY stuff so I'm stuck with what I can make for awhile :)
