Boring out the DID air hole

Hi guys,

I have an original DID and I'm finding that the air hole is too small. I would like to bore it out. What's the correct way to do this assuming I don't have any high end tools on hand?

I do have an electric screwdriver and a drill, and that's about it.

You do not need anything else. I recommend 1.5mm!

Before boring it out you might want to see if a driptip with a larger hole gives you the draw you want. They have quite an effect on the draw too.

You really don't even need the electric screwdriver - I just kept spinning the drill bit slowly by hand until it was through. I even have the Dremel drill press but didn't use it since I had no way of keeping the cap in a fixed position.

I've used many drip tips including a very wide one and it still isn't enough.

I'm using an iHybrid so I can feel the difference, I would like it airy as the ihybrid or a bit less.

I bought a set of small mm drill bits at Harbor Freight - about 10 different sizes from .5mm to 3mm (30 pieces - 2 of each of the bigger ones, up to 5 of the smaller ones). Cost about 4 bucks. (Item # 94606)

I bought some needle files from Harbor Freight and opened the hole up bigger that way. Worked like a charm. Make sure to get any metal shavings out before you vape it!
