juice darkening is going to occur with a Genesis no matter what. As the wick seasons, you'll get a carbon build-up. As the juice flows in and out the wick from tilting/setting vertically, it picks up the carbon and it gets in the tank. The only way to really minimize the effect is to clean the wicks regularly.

Got my first AGA T, (the AGA-Tiamant PLUS) on Tuesday from Discount Vapes at a very reasonable price, this was my first RBA!!
To say the least I was eagerly awaiting its arrival, stocking its tracking daily. When it did arrive I was very pleasantly surprised; this thing was nicer than I had expected!! I like the new design....didnt care for the knurling on the older one. I opened the top cap to check the rest of it out, give it a quick rinse and sart my RBA experience! Then I noticed something troubling!!! The center post was missing all three nuts. I had a bare stem. WHAT?? No twisting wicks and spinning coils for me......man I was BUMMED!
So I shot a quick email to Eric at DV, explaining the problem and he promptly sent me the parts I needed! (Thanks Eric )

I got the nuts on Friday and commenced to setting up my Tiamant. Rewatched a few You Tube Video, set up my station, oxidized the wick and spun an coil. My bottom coil was buring really hot all the way back to the negative post. No matter what I did or how I adjusted to wick and the wire, that bottom coil and tail were HOT!!
So I decided to move the wick from the original wick hole to the screw hole closest to the negative post. Wrapped a new coil and fired it up. All coils glowed equally and NO HOT SPOTS!! Yeah....finally got it! primed the wick and fired it!!! Great vapor production. Filled the tank bumped up the voltage and this thing is hitting like a champ!! I am very pleased with this very affordable, user friendly little RBA.
Just wish it came with a glass tank that fit!! Mine is about 1mm to big. going to take the dremel to it later and see if I cant get it to fit!!

The draw on this unit is airy. Others talk about it being to tight and having to drill it out a bit, but that doesnt apply to my unit. The draw is very loose as compared with my Cobra, (Phiniac had a new shipment last week and decided to pick one up too) It arrived the same day as my AGA-T+ (glad I had this one to tinker with as I waited on the parts for the Tiamant). IMO the draw on the Cobra is perfect!!!, for me.

If you are on the fence about breaking in to the RBA world, I would recomend this AGA-Tiamant PLUS RBA. Great little unit at an affordable price. The unit is easy to set up and get going. If you are having problems with the bottom wire, try moving the wick to a hole closer to the negative post....it worked for me.

Mine has the air hole right in the top ring. Draw is just about perfect for me. The Pheonix clones are just a little tighter than I like and I open them up a hair, nothing near 1/16" though. That would be way more airy than I like. My wick hole isn't drilled completely vertical, at the top it angles away from the center post. This makes the gap on top coil even bigger, I twisted wire in the gap to prevent hotspot. Gonna track down some small washers to fix this. Considering the price and the quantity they are cranking these out I don't expect them to be perfect. The deep discount makes the little bit of tinkering you have to do worth it.
