I'll always hold my hand up when wrong and you are right...

oops:oops:

But I wish it was deeper, especially with the droid RDTA, simpy can not use it with the window on :(
Also added a sticky on the review highlighting my mistake and thanking you for pointing it out :)

I also noticed four canals around the boro area. Maybe a condensation catch?
You're right.. Also good when there's a leak. I had a leak on a dope/boro setup and the juice dribbled into the canals and down the side of the mod. Didn't pool around the positive pin at all.

One thing I've noticed about the Tycoon (at least mine) is that the wattage displayed seems less than the power I'm feeling. So 20W on this would be more like 25W on a dna.

It's a screw in board isn't it? Maybe you should remove it, clean the contacts with iso and re-seat it.

That is what I was thinking of too. Or the thumb wheel for the battery might be installed backwards. One side of the wheel says battery side on it (Xray version only I believe says it). Here's Bogan's video on how to get to the board if you need too.

That sounds like it is making and breaking connection with the Orbit. The connection pin can be unscrewed (straight slotted) a bit to raise it up some.
it only happened with the orbit atty

Also the Orbit has that Kayfun Aerokon styled af. Maybe the af pin needs its threads cleaned?

I got it with free express shipping from a local retailer. Last one in stock.

For me Ultem is a strange material. For years I saw pictures and videos of ultem devices and they never interested me. It was a different story when I got one in my hand. So light but strong and they feel so comfortable.
I did a bit of research after that and discovered why ultem is good for vape applications. High abrasion resistance, tensile strength and resistance to heat and most chemical compounds. Peek beats it in some of those categories but doesn't look as cool to me. Plus peek is more expensive. Still...would like a peek BB!

Anyone here knows if the stubby 21 is the same size as the latest Stubby Xray? I know it's a dumb question, I just want to know how much bigger in comparison. I want another Stubby so bad but I'm holding off on it to see if they produce a Stubby 21 xray. I'm hooked on this little sh..

The Stubby 21 is 82mm x 46mm x 33mm
The Stubby Xray is 77mm x 43mm x 30mm

So yeah, a tad larger by 5mm x 3mm x 3mm. The panels also doesn't fit each other.
I see, Thank you Bill. I was looking for a side by side comparison. Also Dave at Vapers Cloud Sent me a spare pcb which I wasn't expecting. Amazing customer service. I couldn't upload the 52 seconds video and he still sent me the pcb. If that ain't customer service I don't know what is...
Needed battery safety day. The Astro mod just destroys the battery wraps. It reminds me of the Rx200 and Lost Vape mods.

I wish more manufacturers would follow suit and create user - serviceable devices like the Stubby. Not only a guaranteed pcb, but freely available spares.
About time I bought an Xray
