Stubby playing real nice with the Atom rda. Bubbles of love for sure..Im thinking to maybe do a two tone Stubby, black oxide and polished panels or a dye bath.

What do you guys think about that? Are there any home anodizer's in our group that might be able to give me advice on the easiest method to use?

I would also like to know if anyone in our group haves the older model wicked rda. The one that has that black piece of shrink tubing on positive post.

I have an sxk version and I never got it to work because the positive post shorts the rda. If anyone of you guys have one send me a message...

Sounds like a great idea. I did a quick search about blackened aluminium and found This.
For a two tone effect I'd be buying some good quality masking tape and have your pattern well mapped out before you start.
It might be worthwhile doing some tests on some scrap aluminium before you commit.
Looking forward to some pics @badinfluence357 !!

It seems like this is becoming an alternative to 510. I don’t own a mod that takes Boro stuff or any boro atties. Im thinking about doing it on general principal. Shied away from some stuff though. A lot of it is real real expensive. Hard to get into for less than a hundred bucks from what I can tell.
You can try out one of the Chinese mass produced kits, from what I have read they have come out usable or good with the rba's that come with them.

If you go for an rba's, it's hard not to recommend the Sturdy One, it was once intended for the DotAIO folks, but it comes with conversion parts so that it can also be used in the Boro world.
I see it as 2:1 in practice, and for 80-90$ it's not bad.
There is also an update kit that folks rave about nowadays.

On the other hand, if you really want things to be used on a 510 mod, I can safely recommend UMod's Unitank v2, I have one in SS and one in DLC in case I find an superb rba and am tired of Boro. I understood that Greg was back after spending 5 months on an island

I think the china clones and mods have become more reliable and cheeper to buy. We the people who vape have voiced our opinions over the years when it came to better quality mods and gear.

China followed and executed on a larger scale then any other modder. I feel some modders have given them access to their older cad files for profit. I don't know for sure, and I know they're not going to confess to it, but it does make sense business wise.

If a modder can run batches of 300 mods evey 3 to 4 months. How many mods can a china company put out in the same amount of time world-wide? Your talking about thousands now...

So, your thoughts are always welcome on original devices and china devices alike. Theres enough clone war threads out there so dont knock the hustle!!! Soon it will be difficult to purchase mods from china as the laws keep changing against our favor..

Everbody has a place to voice there opinions and opportunities with boro devices, rba's, and more. So post as much as you like. Your feedback helps other members decided if boro life is for them or not.

I too believed that sqounking was going to be the main style of vaping. It turns out that there's a better and safe way to vape. Sqounking sucks down the sediment created from your coil back down to your clean juice and back up..

I really feel that the same thing happens while vaping from a boro tank but alot less then sqounking...

The problem with clones is often cheaper materials and manufacturing though. Sometimes this doesn’t matter. Sometimes it does. Sometimes this doesn’t happen, sometimes it does. I’ve actually got clones that were better than the original. It goes the other way too though. I once had a “brass” clone mech mod that turned my hands black. It also had this odd sort of reflected sunburst in smooth metal that Ive never seen in brass before. I’d seen it in lead sheet though. Lead also turns your hands black. I decided to treat it like it was the original, but, you know.. poisonous.

There is an adonization color for every gem color of aluminum Oxide. White black blue, red, and green. Might be others I’m not thinking of but oxidization rocks in this case. Turns the surface to synthetic sapphire (or ruby, or whatever)

It reviewed well. The thing that bugs me about it is the exposed battery. Those wraps aren’t very tough.
Like pig's said, double wrap battery's is the best way to stay safe. I never remove the original wraps on my new battery's, I just add the odb wrap right on top of the factory wrap. If I have to remove the original wrap for any reason, I add a clear wrap on top of the wrap I choose..

what did you use to polish? I'm thinking of doing the same to my stubby
Im so sorry that I didn't see this sooner. I used heavy duty easy off to remove the ano, then Wd-40 to polish. You can use micro sanding and buffing pads to get a brush finish before polishing.
