Hi Russ, good to see you here. Your acquiring a nice collection there ol buddy....:)
Thank you brother! Yep still got trusted grands and one more overpriced Italian regulated mod (all those cost about the same or even less than any other 18650 mech sold on ECF besides a REO) but yeah man, just trying different stuff and looking forward to P67vil. Spent way too much money last quarter 2015 on vape stuff though. Sold some for other vape stuff too.

I'm using the Italian bottles in a mod that was specifically designed for em but I also will run REO bottles in it. Those other ones easilly take 10ml bottles.

It's good to have options in bottles. But if one of them new bottles ever leak I'll abandon them like they never happened and go back to my REO bottles. Never had a leak in 3 years with them. But So far not a drop of juice has emitted. Those are only a couple of weeks old. Maybe updated? I dunno.

Good to see ya to bro

Getting flustered with the plastic threads not sealing on the ss cap.. only using 2 of of 7 so far and both leak. Can not get an air seal no matter how much hot water I try.

Today noticed a good size leak in my only woodvil with the new bottle. So I thought to try some plumbers tape to enlarge the threads.. took alot more then I expected to get it somewhat sealed. Still not a 100% but I bet it's cause of a small leak at the tube but I've yet to see juice come from there cause its taking the easy road out at the threads.

If this don't hold up I guess I'll start looking at orings for the fix like jifjifjif did.

Even the oring are not perfect. I've gone back to the Original REO bottles. Absolutely no issues with them.
Sorry you've had so many issues with em. I love em cuz it's so much easier on my hands. I'll deal with the lil bit of leaking I'm getting to have less hand pain!

I've found they can certainly be quirkie at times. I have filled and screwed on a bottle or two and not had them seal. I think one of my tricks to making sure they screw on and seal is when going to screw the bottle in, I screw it in counter-clockwise until I feel the threads engage and then screw them clockwise to tighten them up. This has worked the best for me. The only time one ever leaks from the threads is when I don't follow this method for installing them.

I use this method as well! I ALWAYS turn counter clockwise first then clockwise. When I first got the bottles I found it very easy to cross thread and not seal properly. I then started doing the counter clockwise method and works every time. I found that sometimes I would do it 3/4 times before it caught the thread perfectly. You can tell right away because if it catches the threads perfectly there is no resistance whatsoever and screws on easily then stops when tight. I get no leaks whatsoever. Definitely the key is to go counter turn first!:headbang:

Mr. Rob, this is not the quality of the products that you make and sell. Just saying!!
Don't mean anything at all ugly by this, but Rob went through a lot of effort to get these cuz folks were screamin for em before very many had tried them. Some of it may be trial and error, cuz some aren't having issues, some are. It's something new to everyone, so we gotta figure em out. Just my opinion. Like I said, not criticizing your comment, just offering another view.

I would never say anything derogatory about our fearless leader. EVER! If he had developed this bottle I can assure you it would be perfect. If not, he would not market it!! All I'm really saying is it needs a tweak or two.

Yeah, I also had persistent leaking with the new bottles, initially. Adding an oring solved it for me; the oring that comes with the REO mini bottle is perfect. You can find them at the hardware store too - 3/8" O.D x 1/4" I.D. x 1/16" (h/t to whoever listed the measurements earlier in the thread).

But that said ...

What muzichead said. The threads are a little tricky to seat even in the best case; if you add the thick o-ring under the cap they're even trickier. But once you get 'em to catch, you're good.

The bottles are excellent once you fix the leaking, which at least for me was more of a nuisance than a dealbreaker even at its worst - a little juice coating the back of the bottle after a full day. Kudos to Rob for bringing us more options.

Yeah i just tried the oring. Not sure of the size though it'd thin so 1/16 thick. Sucks I could only find 3 of them around the house. I have hundreds of the next size up and those are too big and wont seat right in the cap.

Removed the plumbers tape and covered the holes of the atty and squeeze and there is the sealed resistance I've been looking for!

Well atleast there's a cheap fix for them.

Tonight were going to the casino with my wifes friend that owns 2 prior reos of mine ( vv reo grand and now my new black anno lp/sl ) I'm finally giving her the bottle and going to install it! She has no idea about the new bottles so she forsure will be blown away!
