Thank you brother! Yep still got trusted grands and one more overpriced Italian regulated mod (all those cost about the same or even less than any other 18650 mech sold on ECF besides a REO) but yeah man, just trying different stuff and looking forward to P67vil. Spent way too much money last quarter 2015 on vape stuff though. Sold some for other vape stuff too.Hi Russ, good to see you here. Your acquiring a nice collection there ol buddy....
I don't know of any Reonauts that squonk with a rubber mallet though.
Sorry you've had so many issues with em. I love em cuz it's so much easier on my hands. I'll deal with the lil bit of leaking I'm getting to have less hand pain!Even the oring are not perfect. I've gone back to the Original REO bottles. Absolutely no issues with them.
I've found they can certainly be quirkie at times. I have filled and screwed on a bottle or two and not had them seal. I think one of my tricks to making sure they screw on and seal is when going to screw the bottle in, I screw it in counter-clockwise until I feel the threads engage and then screw them clockwise to tighten them up. This has worked the best for me. The only time one ever leaks from the threads is when I don't follow this method for installing them.
Don't mean anything at all ugly by this, but Rob went through a lot of effort to get these cuz folks were screamin for em before very many had tried them. Some of it may be trial and error, cuz some aren't having issues, some are. It's something new to everyone, so we gotta figure em out. Just my opinion. Like I said, not criticizing your comment, just offering another view.Mr. Rob, this is not the quality of the products that you make and sell. Just saying!!
Jup, I know you weren't criticizing him. and Jup, if he'd made em they'd be awesome! Just hopin some brilliant reonaut will come up with just the right tweak that'll solve the issues some are havingI would never say anything derogatory about our fearless leader. EVER! If he had developed this bottle I can assure you it would be perfect. If not, he would not market it!! All I'm really saying is it needs a tweak or two.
Getting flustered with the plastic threads not sealing on the ss cap.. only using 2 of of 7 so far and both leak. Can not get an air seal no matter how much hot water I try.
Today noticed a good size leak in my only woodvil with the new bottle. So I thought to try some plumbers tape to enlarge the threads.. took alot more then I expected to get it somewhat sealed. Still not a 100% but I bet it's cause of a small leak at the tube but I've yet to see juice come from there cause its taking the easy road out at the threads.
If this don't hold up I guess I'll start looking at orings for the fix like jifjifjif did.
