I've never used o-rings. Even my old-school (by comparison, hard as a rock) bottles were set up like this:

First run with my "air travel challenge". With the old bottles, I'd swap an empty bottle onto the Reo, and put a solid cap on the full bottle pre-flight. Others have said they didn't have an issue but when I flew without doing this pretty much ANY liquid in the bottle would be air-pressure squonked up, and out the atty. Messy.

But these new bottles have no solid cap.

I snipped an old carto condom down to have a flat disc of silicone, which basically has given me a sealed cap.
Fit well, still (barely) threaded, and proved to be a liquid-tight seal.

So I'm set with a soft bottle for flying! - just need to keep one empty bottle with a silicone-sealed cap.
And since I got 5 bottles, but only have 3 squonkers, I'm good.

(Except of course that I have my eye on 2 more squonkers coming out soon....hopefully by then I can add a bottle or two to a P-67 order) :D

Excellent idea!! I had a ton of these for a long time that I never used, they came with the vivi nova top coil, coils in them. Saved em forever, hope I still have em, but may have chunked them, not sure.

A kind soul on the ECF sent me a couple of these bottles. After having used one for five fills, I really like them, my right thumb loves them and my RM2 drains (90% VG) as never before. I used the hot water method of seating the threads, no runs, no drips, no errors.

Got the new bottles in late this afternoon . I need to clean the stainless caps they were never cleaned and there are stainless chips in the caps and I would assume cutting oil . I will have them on the site in a couple days .
I have tried one of the bottles in my mod very nice . Makes pushing the bottle a breeze even with a empty bottle .

Well I had my first cataclysmic failure with these bottles today, and not from the threads like I thought it would be. It was from the tubing. I refilled a bottle in my black grand, and gave her a big ol' squonk as I just rewicked as well...and bam a mod and handful of juice.

After some inspection I saw the tube had ripped on the back side right where it meets the positive nipple. Now I am not saying I am infaliable, and it was possible I was too rough when refilling but the troubling part is I haven't been using this Reo. It has seen maybe two or three fills since I received the bottles so I can't chalk it up to wear and tear (pun intended). IMHO I am very gentle when pulling and setting up for a refill so I would caution yall to really pay attention with the pressure on this tubing.

Bummer to hear anything bad about these bottles because I love them.

On another note, I have some of that tubing, and I'd be glad to snip off about three inches or so and stick it in the mail to ya. PM me if you want some.

Thanks darling but I just snipped and replaced. I will say I still like them and am still gonna rock them, just an FYI for the less gentle Reonauts out there [emoji12]

Tubing is easily replaced. There's a guy on eBay who sells 2 meter lengths of compatible tubing for under $5.00 shipped. Not sure if eBay links are welcome here, but it's item number 141787614650.

Yep, Rossum, that's what I got. I fixed up my niece and nephew with new bottles and snipped her tube a little too short. I thought a little stash of extra tubing would be handy. The end result is that I have PLENTY of tubing. :)

There in stock . I will look into some replacement tubing for these and get some ordered

Stock has already dropped in an only hour. I have now posted in a few squonking facebook groups that these are available at REOS mods.

Nice to see them on reosmods.com, you don't eff around Rob.
Very nice price to boot! I'll be grabbing a few of these on my next order.
Thanks for the cleaning and attention to detail, well worth the admission price :)
Yep, we weren't able to do a whole lot better than that with a CoOp, so there's no question that Rob's pricing is very fair, and that means it would be rather pointless for a certain guy and his daughter to run a second round.
