I totally understand a DIYer not having access to a lot of those things, but child proof caps ought to be a necessity.
I have never had trouble getting caps off premade juices, it does sound very troublesome and not good all around.

Wouldn't it just make sense for the Retailer to include Child-Proof Caps with Every Order?

The if the Consumer wants to use them, they Can. And if they Choose not to, they Don't have to.

For things like Child-Proof Caps, One Size does Not Fit All (Pun Intended). I'm more about giving Consumers More Choices than Less.

I tend to lean towards self regulation, as apparently the only other option is over regulation.

We keep our bottles safely tucked out of sight and out of reach.

This is Probably a Moot Point. In that one of the First Changes that e-Cigarette users will see with the Coming Regulations is in Packaging.

That is, if e-liquids are still going to Allowed to be sold in Bottled, Liquid Form.

BTW - I find it Odd in a thread about Bottle Quality that No One has mentioned the type of Plastic that a e-Liquid should come in. Maybe I missed it.

Do you want your e-Liquids coming in Polystyrene Bottles? Or is this something that does Not Concern people?

In normal size bottles, 10-15ml is it pretty much irrelevant, unless your vaping MEGA HOT CINNAMON. Consumption generally far exceeds Deterioration.

I DIY and have no problems with LDPE - WITHOUT cpc's:)

I prefer to use telling my kids not too touch. Then using the cabinet over the refrigerator that no one in family can reach but me.

Twenty years ago... I used to think the cabinet above the fridge was a safe place. Until one day I walked into the kitchen to find my 3 year old son standing on top of the fridge!!!

Got him down and asked him how did you get up there... he showed me how you open a drawer a few inches and climb onto the counter, then open the cabinet next to the fridge and use the shelves as a ladder.

Nothing much is child proof in my opinion...

I agree with all the child proof stuff.

I know a lot of "premium" vendors use glass, and they're nice, but I almost always re-bottle them into plastic.

These are my favorite bottle types: easy to squeeze, childproof, and I love the need-tip. It's not the really small kind, either, but they're perfect for squirting into carto tanks.

This^^^ There should be a choice offered. I no longer have children around except for two weeks in the summer. My stuff stays out of sight and reach while they are here. I don't need or want child proof caps. Then you have quite a few with arthritic hands that cannot deal with a child proof cap (and let me tell you! Hand it to a kid that can get it off with no problem).

Aren't we all fighting for Choices? Aren't we complaining about having regulations being forced on us? Whatever happened to being responsible for our own kids and not having regulations parent our children for us?

    Sorry..... Rant over

It's sad to note....I'm afraid the idea of being responsible for our own kids is rapidly going the way of the dodo bird....:(
Our "rants" (read: COMMON SENSE by SOME....!!!) are falling more and more on deaf ears...
Some call this the "Age of Enlightenment".....Some SERIOUSLY question that....
OK....This is my SECOND "soapbox" for the afternoon.....NO MORE, I PROMISE!!:D
    Happy (vaping) Trails!

Trust me crxess. You DON'T want you e-Liquids packaged in Polystyrene Bottles. Or Tanks/Clearos made from Polystyrene either.

No Matter the Size. No Matter the Time in the Bottle. No Matter the e-Liquid Flavor.

A Plastic Bottle doesn't have to Visibly Break Down for it to Leach Chemicals into an e-Liquid.

Hmm, I don't see why someone would have a problem with getting child resistant caps (much more fitting I think) unless there was a case of arthritis or something. They aren't too hard to take off and more often than not I can open the bottle with one hand. I also don't have kids in my home and keep it away from my pets.
I don't know, it just gives me a little piece of mind and is by no means a bad thing. A choice would be a nice thing for those with sore hands though!

We should child proof a lot of adults who should not be playing with baby humans.
Probably the best and funniest thing I've read on these forums so far!
It reminds me of a quote from the movie "Parenthood." "You need a license to drive a car. You need a license to catch a fish! But they'll let any ....-reaming ...... be a father." I'm all for self regulation w/ stiff idiot penalties for any unique situations.

I DO have arthritis in one of my hands, and, let me tell you, those child-(and adult!) proof caps can be murder! I don't have children, I rarely have children as guests, and my vape stuff is out of normal traffic, tucked away. I want to have the choice. Seems simple enough; many vendoprs let you shoose PG/VG ratio, flavor boost, etc. Just add a section for child-proof cap or no.

Child proof caps are an ignorant bureaucratic solution. They do nothing but make people think that their children now miraculously can't access their potentially dangerous things like e-juice or prescription meds. Any child outside of infancy can remove any type of childproof cap, use lighters that are childproof, and open childproof drawers. And infants can easily be kept away from these dangers by keeping these items off the floor.

If you want your children to be safe around these things, you must actually speak to them about the dangers of the item in question and explain to them why they must not ingest or play with the item. Any other solution is just wishful thinking.

People want to take about Child Resistant Caps... OK.

Child Resistant Caps Primary Purpose has Nothing to do with Safety. It is All About Limiting Liability in a Lawsuit.

If a Few Kids are saved, hey, that is Cool. But that is Not their Purpose.
