Hello all I have a question, how do you keep track of what flavor is in what bottle when you mix it up, I have tried labels but they keep coming off when the bottle gets a little wet so can anyone tell me where to get some either colored bottles or colored needle tips so I can color code them for my dad so he doesn't forget what liquid is in what bottle?

Put the label on top of the cap.
If you put the label on the side it will come off.
This way you dont land up mixing up caps. I label both the cap and the bottle. If its a regular flavor i etch the name on with a dremel

I just write what it is on a small piece of paper, along with the mix date...very small piece of paper...then I take a piece of clear tape and cover the paper completely. I keep my bottles at home all the time, and they don't get wet...but it's what I've been doing and has worked great!
1 - Get a Brother P-Touch label maker - $15.00 up... These labels withstand the hot water. (Office supply, Walmart, eBay...)

P-Touch works great, I have had good luck with my Avery labels as well. I have both and use whatever is close to me at the moment.
I basically do the same thing, and it survives getting wet. 3M page marker stickers to write on, industrial marker to write with, quality clear tape to cover everything. Survived various temps, getting wet from various things including juice. On larger bottles I scale up and use folder marker stickers, and quality packing tape. I don't go crazy with a huge border of tape and that way I can take it off if needed. I have also found that a lot of my bottles are just the right shape for paper towel roll tubes to fit over. When I use them I just write on the towel tube and push the bottle inside of it. I like the idea that it also blocks light, not just UV.
I do the same but use MS Word to make the text with different fonts or colors and my own amateur logo. Then print it and cut a 1" or so piece and affix it to the bottle with clear tape, covering the paper label completely. Looks and works great.

What is the number of the Avery label you use for this? I use the regular return address (like the 5195) with my HP Office jet printer and they do not stand up near water.
