I've searched the forum in vain for an answer, but I've come up empty. I made some juice tonight in a 10ml bottle, one that originally held a vendor liquid marked 10ml. I measured out the ingredients and it only filled half of the bottle. I double checked with two juice calculators that I entered 10ml for the amount I wanted to make, and I KNOW I put in the correct amount of base (8.33ml), VG (.66ml) and flavoring (.10ml) . I made another batch in a new purchased empty 10ml bottle (although a different shaped bottle), and it filled it to approx. 3/4. I know it's late and all, but what the heck could I have done wrong (twice)?

Bottles generally hold much more than they are labeled as. Depending on the type of bottle, you can get 6 or 7 ml in a 5ml bottle, and up to 11 or 13 in a 10ml bottle if filled to the top. Shhhh .. don't tell the suppliers, they are assuming the bottles will only hold 5ml and selling them full as 5ml bottles when in fact, they are filling them to the top and giving us up to 7ml of juice :p

To test your bottles, just fill a syringe with water and see how much they hold.

According to your amounts that you posted, it adds up to 9.09 ml. Other than that, I buy 15 ml bottles and they are never filled all the way when putting in 15 ml. I think I can actually fit 20 ml in a 15 ml bottle. On another note, most venders make their juice in large quantities and simply just top off the bottle when filling.

Thanks everyone. On another note, the fact that most of these bottles hold more than their stated size would mean that (when purchased from a vendor), most people who think they only vape 3ml per day based on the assumption their bottles only hold X number of mls are actually vaping more then they thought. No big deal, just an observation. Thanks again.
