hey, i have a dripbox 160 from kanger, but i dropped it and broke my chuff cap, cant find a replacement online, so I was thinking about making a mold and casting one out of resin. I worry thought, since the chuff cap sits right above the coils, and the liquid condensates on the cap, would resin be able to 1. hold up to the heat. and 2. would the e juice deteriorate the resin?

Would depend on the resin.

If you're talking about the kit atty, why put time/effort into it? You can replace it inexpensively, or get a much better replacement cheaper IMO.

Way to go Captain! Great work and you still have time to fly around the world. Where do you find the time for making all these mods? I'm only working thirty hours a week and I can't even get in two rounds of golf per week!:thumb:
I played 18 holes the other day as well but it's still just too hot over here. I've got this where I can knock one out, the milling that is in about 2 hours. Then figure about another day and a half to finish it. So 2 days pretty much for each one.

Damn those look really clean all around! Do you sell these?

No I don't, I just don't have the time to make a business out of this. Besides if I were to sell at some stage I'd get a CNC to speed things up

Yea CNC would be almost a must. These look great man! Wish I had the skill to make something that looks as good as yours.

i like the 510 ;) and attie caps

does the dna 75 have any firing delay? i notice even tiny delays with regulateds
The 75 is actually real good because you can set from Escribe the way it fires. In general I haven't found a firing delay in any of them.

One of these days I will get around to making one of these. Did you get your CF from the states?
No Peng only place i found that has matte carbon fiber is China. I ordered from eBay and it took like 3 weeks to get the stuff. Best looking CF I've found however

Great looking mods Captsteve.
I find using a manual mill very satisfying. Either that or the fact that I wouldn't know where to start with a CNC mill lol.
Sure I mean as a hobbyist it's about the journey. Wouldn't be much fun pressing start on the CNC and watching it do all the work.
