I'm not sure what he said about the switch, locked/open or whatever, but he sure didn't trust it as he did the ear test twice. ;)
Sure looks a lot like a Reo. this was in a spam email from FC 22 bucks! seems pretty cheep, even if you had to gut it all, the price for just the enclosure would still be cheep.

I ordered 1 this morning, never tried the bottom feeders yet. But surly a normal rta will just screw on and work if I want it to?
Sure will It's basically a mec mod with a hole in the 510 and a bottle under it any atty will work
I have a feeling you will like the bottom feeding :)

My only thoughts on that device, actually my thoughts on most clones out of China...why do they insist on going so far to the opposite side of the spectrum as far as quality goes?

It was only a matter of time before the Grand was "sort of" cloned bit why shoot for some $25 price point? Why not build to a $50 or $75 price point and actually make what could be a nice piece of gear?

I'm not swimming in cash by any stretch but I've seen enough hardware out of China to know when something is "too cheap"...at that $ you have to know nothing is machined, it'll be plated die cast mystery metal that will just fall apart as soon as you mod it.

...at least with a $10 Hammond box you know what you're getting...just saying

Ok. I'm gonna play devils advocate for a minute. Why does a glorified battery holder have to cost 100+ to be worthy of our attention? It's the atty that provides the quality of vape so shouldn't they cost more. I think we all too often stick our noses in the air to cheap mods while sticking clone attys on top. Consumers today it seems are A.D.D. and prefer having a whole bunch of cheap gear rather than a few nice pieces.

My view of the other side of the coin.....FWIW[emoji57] I prefer quality gear honestly but it's nice to see budget bf gear on the market.

It is offensive to my eye from every angle regardless of price, if i was to recommend a new to bottom feeding vapor a product it would not be this however little money they say they had, if you could afford to smoke you can afford to buy something with a little more integrity, in my experience with clone mods you either have to spend a half day modding them or they just get left on the shelf when they fail to perform, so you normally end up buying twice anyway. anyway does anyone have anything custom made or modified to discuss? :)

Custom made by several talented members here:

QXukFGi.jpg

Top & bottom plate are Shapeways "3D Printed" (actually investment cast) brass.
Wood shell by pdib.
Atty by pdib.
Button and DT by a D_J

The brass will need another pass of polish before it looks good in a picture in direct sunlight, but the funny thing is, it looks fine in person.
