This is My Soapdish Bottom feeder-----------------pics below the story

Well my wife and I were doing spring cleaning when she said here would you throw away this old soap dish.

I held it in my hand and it felt like a mod enclosure no kidding.

I have been toying with the idea of making a Squonker 4 awhile now and so the "Squonking Soap Dish" was born.

I thought how am I going to mount everything in this soap dish and be able to take it out for adjustments?

I thought paint stirring sticks are easy to cut and drill and shape and so I glued down everything to the sticks.

I used old battery contact clip from worn out battery charger to connect the positive end on home made battery

sled. I soldered wire to a spring and glued spring down to one end of paint stick.

I took a Ball Point Pen spring and cut it in half and rigged it up to keep tension on the brass machine screw

That I have sticking through the old ts3 clearomizer base that just happens to accept my 510 small dripper and so I have a

spring loaded 510 connection of sorts. Bought plastic insert at hardware store and glued it in the wood and

brass machine screw travels back and forth through this small white plastic insert.

I happen to see a door bell switch at hardware store and used that as my firing button. 4th pic is

the door bell button with the access hatch to press on bottle from back side of dish.

I had to figure out how I was going to pipe the juice from my bottle to my dripper. I did not want to

order special medical hose and wait for it to get here from Fastech China and so I used a Ball Point

Pen "refill.

It was plastic, would bend and itwas the right size in diameter--great. I cut just the point off with my Drummel cut off wheel.

This left me with a small brass injecter type thing on the end of plastic pen refill---"I thought Perfect"

Last pic is close up of pen refill going into one of the air holes of my small no name dripper--plastic refill goes all the way to bottom of soft sqeeze bottle.

First reply below shows pic 6 with no name cheap dripper with injecter-pen refill thing-inserted into

extra air hole.

I used my "Glow In the Dark drip tip on this progect just thought it belongs here 4 some reason

hahahahahah

This thing hits really good and juice pumps up into the dripper with no problemView attachment 463168 View attachment 463170 View attachment 463171 View attachment 463172 View attachment 463173 View attachment 463169

Thx rolf---I like to use things that lay around the house and are easily obtainable.

I could just order all the parts from fastech china and assemble it into a mod box but to me that

would not be any fun. The challenge for me is to see if I can build something from junk parts that anyone

else could too just by seeing my ideas.

2 or 3 months ago I posted here that I was hoping to make a circuit to do pwm with a single cell to hold the voltage constant, to take the edge off a fresh battery and give a more consistent vape. I later dropped the idea but Studiovape encouraged me to do it, so here's some pics in my little plywood squonker. This mod has sort of become a test bed mod so excuse the rough edges (not that it was ever pristine to start with :) )

For this pic, I put the scopemeter in hold mode, it shows 3.58 something Vrms, and around 95% duty cycle. The chip is set to 3.6V rms constant output and the pwm frequency is around 470Hz. Power is varied by changing the coil resistance, same as a mech. The mosfet "should" be good for 15A plus but I have not tested the limits. Maybe Quigsworth and Studiovape will test the limits, if the pcb even works for them ;)

Its an 8-pin Atmel ATtiny13. I set it to 3.6V since I vape at only 10W, which works well, but I don't know what the optimal output voltage for higher power ranges is yet. The ones I sent out to Quigs and SV are set to 3.5V, I hope that works OK for them, who knows...if you want one to test, pm me your address.

Just Modded My Plume Veil to work with my Smokless Owl Squonker.

I unscrewed the bottom 510 brass screw and pulled the positive top posts out and took my Dremmel and put in a small tiny needle type grinder

on the drummel. I then made stuck the needle bit into the open hole and proceeded to cut a slot in the insulator.

A big piece of the insulator came out and I thought sureas heck that I ruined it.

Much to my surprise the insulator is a 2 piece unit with the top piece coming out from the top and the bottom half comes out the bottom.

I took these 2 insulators halfs and finished the cut and reinstalled the two halves so that the slots would align up with each other.

The thing squonks great and much surprised that I could accomplish this.

I want to try my Stillaire and a few others but will enjoy this squonking Plum Veil for now.

Very pleased-----Happy Squonking tp everybody-----thetrucker

Hey trucker thats a really good idea I am thinking about building a okrt10 squonker I will remember this idea since I have 10 drippers laying around.

You want a pin drift punch...sometimes they're hard to find but if you have a grinder they're pretty easy to make out of a regular center punch.

...the basic idea is to have a punch size that will go into your center pin and bottom out (with the set screw removed) that will not touch the threading and will not come in contact with the top of the pin (to avoid mushrooming it and also thrashing the threads) i.e. the bottom 5 (definitely not the top 2)

Thanks quigs. I'm trying to imagine it. Do you put the punch from bottom or top? And how can you bottom out without ruining the threads.

Pretty much every typical center pin I've ever had to drive out has been from top down.

The punch will bottom out because the set screw hole is only so deep. ..if your punch is thinner than the set screw it'll slide right in.

This whole thing really depends on how tight the pin is, I've removed some pins with a finishing nail (not good) but every so often I'd get one that I had to drive it out with a hydraulic press...some Atomic clones could be nasty but at least there's little chance of post spin when you're done

Just got done working on my Stillaire and now it feeds from the bottom.

Drove out the center pin from the top by taking out the wire anchor/post screw and

inserting a small jewlers screwdriver into the post hole and striking the end of

the handle with a pair of pliers.

center post came out and I slotted both sides of the pin with my drummel

cut off wheel.

It works good now. second pic is the Stillaire bottom modified for bottom feeding.
