@sheerlucksherlock
I'm getting that thingiverse file printed by someone. Will a fat daddy BF kit fit in it do you know?
The FDV bottle in my opinion is to big. I'm going to use a bottle like the 6ml from reosmods. The bottle space, you have to work with, is roughly 15mm x 15mm x 65mm. Let me know if you find a good bottle with more than 6ml capacity. Thanks

Actually with those dimensions the Reo bottle won't fit. It is just under 18mm in diameter...

The Reo bottle i measured was 17.2mm. I'm also shaving some of the chamber down as I stated earlier in this thread. Also I stated roughly those were the measurements for the bottle, not exact.

Didn't realize just under 18mm was that much bigger than 17.2mm...my bad!!! I was just eyeballing the bottle that was in my Reo end to end with an 18650 battery...:(

eta... If you can get a Reo bottle to work, the new Italian 8.5ml bottle should work also. It is smaller than the Reo 6ml bottle...

Don't meant to cross-post but I've been waiting for someone (with way more cred than me) start an appropriate thread...so I'll begin by tossing this up...

Even though it's a pretty little mod of Paduck caps and Bubinga body It's built to handle a lot of current with the small amount of wire in it being #16 Stirling Silver to the solid brass (spring loaded neg contact) hence the fuse, I also had to add some #14 stranded to allow the neg contact vertical movement,(I couldn't find stranded Stirling). My typical 35A beryllium/silver HD relay contact leaf makes the pos. connection.

Props to Phidius for paduck squonk buttons. The airholes for the sunken Atomic are done in brass (cause I was board). You might notice I didn't have a lot of room the cross over so the pos of the batt goes to the brass disc the Atomic body is threaded to and the custom marine brass (soaked) center pin threads tight through the Atomic insulator, through the brass disc, insulated with 2 layers of HD mylar, then goes through a brass washer where the Stirling wire is pinched by a marine brass nut...then off to the fuse to the neg (yes I used "hole fill" electron flow theory as opposed to conventional flow on this mod :p)...funny thing is, my coils don't seem to mind.

Nice as always!

No luck with finding a bottle other than those square Japanese ones and I done need 100 of them lol
Do you know if the 6ml Rio bottle will fit?
It will, but the battery won't move because it's so tight and getting it out of the case is about impossible without removing the bottle first. I planned to shave a couple millimeters off of the walls, with an xacto chisel tip, where the bottle sits. After seeing your post, I ordered another bottle and I will let you know how well it fits. It's supposed to be 16mm in diameter.

Edit:

Edit:
I had to order magnets off eBay and they're coming from Australia so I may as well order these
Soy sauce Bottle Container Square Small 8 pcs BENTO Lunch Box

Although 1.5 inches tall seems really tall in this little box

I just did a test fit of the sx350j in the front of the case to see if some screws I had would fit. Do you find the positive and output wire get pinched behind the board making it so it won't push in all of the way? Have you figured out how to route the wires without desoldering anything?

I haven't put mine together yet. I also ordered a sx350j v1 instead and canned the idea to make the v2 fit. Thanks for that heads up. I did however test fit the chip ( v1 ) into the recess. I did find it difficult to get the chip to set in. I routed the red and black battery wires on the sides. After some gentle pushing, I managed to get it to set in place.
